Bingo.
He made a low, pleased sound and even nodded for me. “My role also requires I answer your questions honestly if I am not going to safeword.”
“That’s right.” He liked roles and rules, so I used that as my framework. “And my role is to take care of you in other ways, like supporting you and taking care of you emotionally and when you’re little.”
Oh yes.
He went completely still and even the tiniest strokes to my chest had stopped. I wasn’t sure if they thought that was a subtle way of expressing themselves or not, but it spoke volumes to me whenever it happened. This time it seemed to be about acknowledging the elephant in the room or maybe the dragon with secrets in the room.
Well, not exactly secret from me, but his little side definitely wasn’t something he’d ever talked about with anyone else.
“Yes.” Being carefully neutral with the word, Klynn kept his face pressed tight against my neck. “Those are the main points of your role, although, you will not have to discipline me for dangerous or extensively rude behavior. I am not what would be termed a brat.”
Oh, he was going to have his moments, but he thought of himself as a good boy, so we’d go with that. “No, you’re going to be my good boy. You understand the rules and have been very good at communicating with me, and you’ve already started standing up for me.”
He might be submissive under specific circumstances but he was still a predator and I wasn’t going to forget that.
I’d done enough research on dragons to know that the submissive ones could be dangerously insane when something they were protecting had been threatened. There were several truly dark stories that the government hadn’t understood until someone had thought to explain submission.
Somehow they’d thought submissive meant nonthreatening.
They were idiots.
“I have researched extensively but I understand we will have additional rules.” Klynn was back on familiar conversational footing, so his fingers went back to petting my chest. “The culture around domination-based relationships encourages that to promote bonding between Dominants and submissives.”
I liked the idea of bonding with him but I wasn’t stupid.
I was a bit of an ostrich but not a complete moron.
“I think making rules for the two of us sounds like a wonderful plan.” Still keeping my touch on the more innocent side, I turned my head and kissed his cheek. “And I think taking care of you as a Daddy would be wonderful too.”
Oh, more thinking stillness.
It only lasted for a handful of seconds that time, though.
“You have already indicated an understanding of the Daddy lifestyle.” Klynn might’ve been reciting a fact or reminding himself that I was okay with him being little, but either way, I nodded. “There are many variations of that lifestyle, however.”
Were we finally making progress on the details of what he wanted?
“Yes. I’ve never had my own little, but I’ve met some in social situations. The binkies and bottles littles were cute and the older ones who wanted to play and color and watch cartoons were fun.” I’d just never met one I’d clicked with on a personal level. “Oh, and I met a couple where one guy is the Daddy and he had a middle…an older little but not one that always acted like a full grown-up sub.”
“I have heard about those but have not found any books about them yet.” Klynn’s explanation sounded almost clinical, so I didn’t think he connected with that one personally. “They play video games. I will have to see if my reading device has any stories about them.”
Lorne seemed to have collected stories on everything, so Klynn would probably find something interesting.
“I’m glad that’s given you so much information and the ability to research.” I wasn’t going to ask why the regular internet hadn’t been helpful because I was pretty sure the answer itself would be unhelpful, but he loved his books and they were helping him figure out his own needs. “It makes it easier for me because I don’t have to worry about shocking you or confusing you.”
We’d already talked around this part before, but reinforcing it seemed like a good idea. “I have no idea how I’d take care of baby Klynn, though, so you might have to show me the versions of bottles you use.”
He gave me the faintest nod but that was better than silence and stillness, so I kissed his head. “You’re going to be my good helper in figuring all of this out. Daddies don’t really like feeling stupid, so I’m going to need a lot of information up front. I know you can do that, though.”
Was that too assumptive?
Too manipulative?
“My role…my role requires I provide you with a variety of information.” He didn’t seem to like that but he accepted it as his lot in life. “You are also unfamiliar with our everyday objects of that sort.”
