As I held him in my arms, carrying him down the street, I marveled at this beautiful specimen, my cock stirring with interest. I’d been in plenty of bodies before and felt similar sensations. Maybe it was this form or the natural chemistry I shared with this human, but either way, my instincts to breed had been activated, and all I could think was how I wanted to mate with him.

Of course, this was not the sort of thing I needed to think about, not when my focus needed to be on repairing my ship and returning to Farquai to complete my mission.

But first, I was determined to make sure Twink was safe.

As I carried him, his beautiful mouth shifted rapidly as he communicated something with me that was far too advanced for me to understand. When he paused, it seemed appropriate to offer a response, so I went with the gesture I’d noticed most at the bar, the subtle nod, which seemed to satisfy him. He pointed his finger, directing me somewhere. I did my best to sort through his gestures and the nonsense he spoke before we finally reached his dwelling.

“The couch is there, so help yourself.”

I wish he would keep speaking this gibberish to me. He was so mesmerizing, I really didn’t mind not understanding.

“I mean, my room’s back there, but I’m pretty sure I can get there on my own.”

He pointed again, and I followed the direction.

“Oop. Or you can keep carrying me.” He chuckled as I took him into the adjoining room, which had a bed, similar to ones I’d seen from other creatures in my travels. Very different from the crevices Furkers use when in our natural state.

After I set him on the bed, he searched around the room. “Well…good night, then.”

Unable to work out what he was suggesting, I slid in with him.

“Or this… Yeah, this is fine, Daddy.”

There was that beautiful word again—the name he called me. I displayed my teeth in the way that seemed to indicate something pleasant. As he mirrored the expression, a sensation swirled in my chest. This was similar to how I would feel pleasant sensations in my natural form.

Twink settled under the bedcovers, and I did the same as he said, “I have a feeling it’s gonna be a rough hangover tomorrow.”

He retrieved his electronic device, the tension in me rising as he turned the screen toward me. Something flashed on it, and I ducked down in case the device might be able to detect my presence or scan and realize I was a different species.

“You mind if I watch a few TikTok videos before I pass out? I know it’s not a great thing to do before bed, but it’s my ritual.”

I stared at his lips, taking in the sounds and adding them to the lexicon for when the Kaylog came back online, but I also found myself distracted by his lips, developing the strong urge to press my own against his, the way I’d seen other members of his species group do at the bar. He seemed to be waiting for a response, so I used the most successful of my limited movements and nodded, which satisfied him enough that he continued with his device.

“Chelsea, turn off my alarms for tomorrow,” he said, stressing the first word.

Was that the device’s name? I added that to my new words.

Twink watched his screen intently, completely absorbed, and I figured this might be how the device controlled him.

“Which alarm would you like to turn off?” Chelsea asked.

He groaned. “Had this phone for three years, and she still makes me turn off each alarm individually.” He fidgeted with his device. Once he seemed satisfied, he pulled up a video. “Oh my God. I follow this guy on TikTok, and he’s so hot.”

He tried to flash the screen to me a few times, but each time I managed to evade it. I reminded myself of the many times such scanners had been used to detect deception, but by now, my biological changes should have set in enough that nothing should alert any scanning mechanisms.

Eventually, he pulled the covers over us, and I hooked my arm around him.

“Oh, we’re doing this…well, that’s fine,” he said, tucking his ass close to my pelvis, which stirred an entirely new sensation.

I held him close as his breathing relaxed, his heart rate settling. He was clearly entering a sleep state, which I could feel my own body craving in this form. Yet I had work to do. I would only be able to manage with Twink for so long before I would need to have enough language to communicate with him, so when I felt he was asleep, I began tinkering with my arm cuff on my new appendage, pulling up into the sight of this new optical orifice the stats that displayed the reboot of my ship, which was nearly complete.
