“We should go back,” he murmurs, voice hoarse. “You and I both know this is wrong.”
Does he move? No.
Do I? Hell, no.
“I like it,” I whisper against his flesh. “No one knows what we’re doing, so it’s safe.”
His palm slides lower, fully cupping my ass cheek. He gives it a little squeeze. “This romper should be illegal.”
I burst out laughing. “It’s so comfortable though.”
“Not for me and every damn guy at the school.”
“Poor baby,” I tease and gently suck on his neck.
His grip on my ass tightens almost painfully. “Addison.”
It’s a warning I don’t heed. I suck on his neck again. Then, I do it again, hoping to mark him. The thought of seeing his skin bruised while he teaches class turns me on.
I pull away slightly, needing to see his face. His lips are slightly parted and his eyes are hooded. When I’m about to bring my lips to his, his phone starts ringing. He stiffens and immediately removes his hand from my ass.
“We need to dry out before getting back in your car,” he mutters. “Time to leave, bad girl.”
I scoff as he carries me back to the shallows. “I thought I was your good girl.”
Lust burns hot in his gaze. “I said you were a good girl, not mine.”
“My bad,” I say, pouting out my bottom lip. “I misunderstood.”
He presses his nose to mine, eyes boring into me as he carries me out of the water and onto the grass. Then, he slowly lowers me to my feet. The front of my body rubs against his obvious erection. I’ve never been with a guy like this and been able to feel his cock. Heat floods through me.
The things I want him to do to me…
“Well take a walk to dry off,” he grits out, eyes roaming over my soaked body. “We can’t return to school with you looking like that.”
I glance down at how my romper glues to my every curve. It satisfies me that Theo is every bit turned on by me as I am him.
He offers me his hand, and I suddenly don’t care about his cock or a kiss. I just want to hold his hand like I’m his.
As we walk along the grass toward a sunny area beyond the trees, he mutters, “Thank you for this.”
“I think we both needed it.”
And I plan on having more of it.
Chapter 8
Theo
Imanaged to survive the week without doing something regrettable. The day I took Addison to the lake was dangerous for the both of us. We touched, held hands, and talked like two lovers on a date. I think had we stayed in that water, I might have fucked her in it.
My chest hurts and it’s not all the gym time I’ve been putting in. I miss her and I hate that it’s the weekend. It seemed like every time we got a moment alone after the lake day, we’ve been interrupted.
Which is why I’m contemplating doing something stupid. Again.
Me: I hate the weekends now.
Her response is almost immediate.
Good Girl: Is this Theo?
Too late to back out now. I had her number and now she officially has mine. I’ve crossed a line I never should have gotten close to.
Me: I thought you could tell by my miserable tone.
Good Girl: It’s pretty unmistakable.
Me: Any big plans?
Good Girl: None. I would do just about anything to escape this prison.
I glance at the time. It’s almost midnight on a Friday. An eighteen-year-old girl like Addison should be out having fun on a Friday night.
Me: What about your friends?
Good Girl: I have two. Savvy has a baby, so she’s probably in bed. The other one is afraid to be alone with me and avoided me all week.
Me: Not by choice, trust me.
Good Girl: Come save me then?
My heart races at her question. Going to her would be a bad idea, but I can’t erase it from my mind.
Me: And what would we do?
Good Girl: Skinny-dip at the lake?
I suck in a sharp breath.
Good Girl: I’m kidding. Talking would be nice. You could park up the road, and I could come sit in your truck.
I’m already sliding out of bed to throw on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt.
Me: Text me your address.
Fifteen minutes later, I’m sitting at the end of Addison’s street, trying to talk myself into leaving. Instead of driving away like a normal, sane person, I text her and let her know where I’m at. A few minutes later, she opens the passenger side door to my truck and slides across the bench seat until she’s right next to me.
“Finally,” she says in greeting, hugging me from the side. “I was so bored.”
Her palm settles on my thigh over my basketball shorts, and I stupidly put mine over hers. “Me too.”
“It’s weird seeing you in shorts,” she says with a giggle. “Your legs are hairy.”
