“No.” Liam smiled and rubbed his thumb over Seth’s bottom lip. “It’s not just fun. I love you, too, Seth. I still feel like I’m too old for you. I’ve been trying to fight my feelings, but they are so damn strong.”

Seth kissed the pad of his thumb. “Please stop fighting them. The age difference doesn’t mean shit to me. You’re the sexiest man I’ve ever seen and well, I love you enough to stay here in Cincinnati.”

“But your dad’s training center…”

“Can wait. I’ve talked to my dad. Told him how happy I am here. How happy I am with you.”

“What did he say?”

“Well, first, he wants to meet you.” Seth nearly laughed at the sudden paleness of Liam’s face. “And second, he understands. He wants me to be happy. He’s still not planning to retire yet. And who knows what we’ll decide to do in the future? Truth is, I love my job here and I love you. I honestly love the city, too. There’s more than one reason I’ve put off returning to Connecticut for so long.”

The grin that slowly widened Liam’s lips was so sexy, it took Seth’s breath away. The man really didn’t have any understanding of his appeal. Seth rolled on top of him and kissed that grin over and over. Liam tried to kiss him, but he was laughing too much. Seth finally cupped his face and pressed their mouths firmly together. The kiss went on and on, tongues coming into play. When he finally pulled up, they were both breathing hard.

“Let’s get a place together,” Seth said, propping his arms on Liam’s chest and winking at him. “Someplace with a backyard, so you can have a garden or a greenhouse.”

“You don’t think it’s too fast?”

“No, I don’t. Plus, your shower is too damn small.”

“That, it is,” he mused. “I’d love to have a greenhouse. And a yard for a garden. There’s nothing like fresh, homegrown vegetables.”

“I’ll even take a few cooking classes. See if I can get better.”

Seth’s food preparation had always been breakfast foods, but he did cook a lot of their meals. It was just that a man could only eat so many pancakes and waffles, though Liam did love his Belgian waffles. He complained about having to work out more, but Seth liked him just the way he was. He was his big, cuddly bear, and he wouldn’t change a thing.

Liam glanced over at the clock on his bedside table and groaned. “I have to get up in an hour. Might as well not try to go to sleep now. But you don’t have to be to work until eight, so you should try and get some more sleep.”

“Don’t wanna sleep. I’m too excited at the thought of getting a place together. I’m tempted to get my laptop and start looking right now.”

Liam grabbed hold of his ass and rubbed up against him. “I can think of a more pleasant way to pass the hour.”

“Your idea might be better, though I’m still a little sore from earlier.”

“There are other things I like to do to you.” Liam rolled him onto his back. “My mouth isn’t sore at all.” With that, he moved down Seth’s body with kisses.

Seth ran his hands over those strong shoulders, loving the slide of smooth skin over taut muscles. He smiled at the man, excited at the prospect of them getting a home together. Just plain excited to have him in his world.

Liam was a gift he’d never expected to get, and life couldn’t be better.
