"Did you guys have a good time?” I ask as my fingers thread through his short hair.
"We did. Maverick’s girls were there too. We might need to be concerned about the girl gang they are creating."
"Concerned?"
"Yeah, they'll need shirts and maybe a handshake,” he suggests, and I burst out laughing. He leans down and nuzzles my neck. "I love that sound. And I missed you."
"I missed you too."
"How are you feeling?" He places his hand on the small baby bump.
"I feel good," I tell him and wiggle against him. "Really good."
"I’ll go put our wildcat to bed, and then I can put you to bed." I gasp when he gives my nipples a tug through my shirt. "Now you go get ready for Daddy so I can have my way with you."
He gives me another kiss before he heads upstairs, and I’m left hot and needy. It’s a simple order but one I’m happy to follow. Getting ready for my Daddy means a night spent in endless pleasure.
Every moment with Wynn feels that way, and although I didn’t know it in the beginning, it was all worth the fight.
