While I secure the only article of clothing she’ll ever wear for the rest of her life, Bamgin kisses her cheek. “Sleep, Baby girl.”

She squirms, whining behind the pacifier. It’s expected. Human females are not accustomed to being diapered. It’s foreign to them, and each female rejects the concept to a varying extent. We’re prepared.

Bamgin lifts her hand to his lips and kisses her fingertips, glancing at me before he pierces her tender skin.

She whimpers again, giving a slight tug to her hand, but he holds her small fingers tighter. Seconds later, she slips into a deep sleep.

After piling pillows up on either side of our mate, I follow Bamgin to the living room. I don’t shut the door, and the two of us only step far enough away to avoid disturbing her. We keep her in our line of sight. If she so much as sighs deeply, we’ll be back at her sides in a heartbeat.

Bamgin runs a hand through his hair. “Well, this is unexpected. It makes sense, though. Now I know why I was here six weeks without meeting my mate. I wasn’t just waiting for her to arrive. I was also waiting for you.”

I nod. “It would appear so. But you’re not angry?” I ask again.

Bamgin shakes his head. “Not at all. It’s obvious this is Fate’s choice for us. It was always our destiny. Stunned—yes. Angry—no. You?”

“Not at all. In fact, I’m wondering how other men manage their new Little girls on their own. Seems like we’ve needed four hands and two heads several times already,” I joke.

Bamgin chuckles. “True. What are you visualizing for our future?”

I shrug. “Obviously we need to combine households. Either choose one of our homes or move into another. I can’t picture any scenario where we pass her back and forth sharing her. I’d go mad if she was out of my sight even for an hour.”

“I agree. That’s not an option. It’s not as though we need more space than either of us currently has. Maybe a larger bed.” Bamgin laughs. “She’ll sleep between us, cocooned and loved. She’ll be the most sated Little girl on Eleadia from taking both of us just as often as other females accept their mates into their bodies.”

I glance at where she’s still sleeping, knowing Bamgin injected her with a serum to help her rest deeply. A visual forms in my head. “She’ll take both of us at the same time. We’ll work on stretching both her pussy and her bottom so that she can do so.”

Bamgin is smiling when I glance at him. “I’m glad you’re picturing that, too.”

Relief floods me. We’re on the same page. “Do you think we should move her to the mothership while she’s asleep.”

Bamgin nods. “I think it’s a good idea. I know I’ll feel a lot better after Dankin examines her. And ten times better after he fixes her.”

“Agreed. I’ll have Riand bring the pod.” I pull out my phone and message him as I speak.

Bamgin rubs his chin. “Your home is closer to government headquarters than mine. Plus I bet your nursery is further along than mine.” He smirks. “I left an empty room, thinking to deal with it during the trip back. Oddly, it felt like I would jinx myself if I came to Earth fully prepared to return with a mate, and for the past few weeks, I’ve wondered if I had actually jinxed myself by not being prepared.”

I laugh softly. “I’m sure your lack of preparation did not influence things in the least, but you’re right. I do have a nursery ready. Are you sure you don’t mind combining our lives in my current home? We could move out of both and get something we choose together.”

Bamgin shakes his head. “I think your house is our best option. If we change our minds, we can deal with finding another place down the road. For now, it will be much easier to make arrangements and have some of my belongings moved while we’re traveling.”

I inhale deeply, holding his gaze for a long time. “Shouldn’t this feel more awkward?”

He smiles. “Seems like it, but all I feel is calm with regard to the fact that Margaret belongs to both of us. I’m going to fret and pace and rub my hands together until Dankin operates on her knee, but the rest feels predestined and right.”

I glance toward our sleeping girl again. “Her eyes…”

“Yeah, stunning. The red and yellow flecks make them look orange.”

“Gozanite…” I mutter.

Bamgin thinks for a moment and then smiles. “Not the orange stones, though. The red and the yellow. One of each to represent both of us.”

The visual of our girl with one red and one yellow stone dangling from her nipples fills me with a sense of rightness. “Yes. Exactly perfect.”
