“If that’s what you want,” Asher said slowly.

“And if it’s what you all want,” I said the words to all of them, but I was looking at Landon.

His blue eyes looked darker as he stared at me. Finally, he nodded. “All right. But let’s call that a tentative lesson plan, subject to change at any time. If we just have a good meal and a fun evening, that’s fine. Or if you want to be with one of us and kick the other two out, that’s fine, too. Do you remember your safe word?”

“No.” I looked to my teachers for help.

Asher frowned, and Kai shook his head. “What was it again?”

Landon scowled. “You two are terrible instructors. It was champagne.”

“Oh yeah. But I don’t need it,” I said quickly.

“You don’t know that. If someone asks you to—” Landon started.

I interrupted him. “If someone asks me to do something I don’t want, I’ll tell them that, and they’ll listen. I trust all three of you.”

There was a moment of silence, and then Asher said, “Okay, then it’s a date.”

“Yes. Wait, where? At the hideaway?”

“No, we’ve got a better place. Can you be ready by eight?”

“Sure.” As long as I spent every second until then thinking about how I was going to do my hair and makeup. And oh yeah, getting a dress that probably cost more than a semester at Langley.

Kai smiled. “Looking forward to it.”

“Me too,” Asher said.

“Me three,” Landon added.

I looked at each of them and then took a deep breath. “Me four.”

By the time I was ready the next night, I was a trembling ball of nerves. I was excited, too, but definitely nervous as well.

To boost my confidence, I’d shaved very carefully, taken extra time with my hair and makeup, and picked out a dress from the boutique that made me feel beautiful—a deep blue-gray that shimmered when I moved, hugging my hips and ass even tighter than my normal skirts.

The plunging neckline was held up by two thin straps that left my shoulders bare, and the fabric was jeweled and sparkly, catching the light with every breath. It made me feel like someone else. Someone confident and beautiful and desired. I loved it so much that I was able to put my concerns about the cost aside—for now.

And at eight, I was confronted with the most beautiful sight I’d ever seen—three handsome, virile men wearing dark suits designed to make panties melt. Not that I was wearing any.

Landon looked devastating in his perfectly tailored charcoal suit, the crisp white shirt making his blue eyes even more striking. I wanted to run my hands through his hair and mess up that perfect composure. Kai wore his suit with that trademark cocky confidence, his tie loosened just enough to make me think about loosening it more, about what he’d look like when I finally got to undress him. And Asher in a dark navy suit that fit him like it was made for him—which it probably was—looked like he should be on the cover of a magazine instead of cooking in a kitchen.

They couldn’t seem to take their eyes off me, and I felt my cheeks flush under their attention.

Landon held out his arm, and I took it, grateful for the steady presence as my heart hammered in my chest.

They led me to a suite where the guests had already checked out, and the dining room table was set beautifully with candles and white linens. Asher had gone all out with the meal, serving multiple courses, where each one was better than the last.

And in between bringing out the courses, he kept the conversation going, which I was grateful for. Some combination of nerves and excitement had rendered me rather speechless. But Asher regaled us with stories of the ridiculously rich students back at Langley—like the guy who’d had his butler fly in his favorite coffee beans every week, or the girl who’d thrown a tantrum when she found out the school didn’t have valet parking for her third Ferrari.

A couple of times I chimed in because I’d witnessed some utterly insane displays of wealth back there too. The twins laughed and joked, and I caught their blue eyes on me a lot. There was an undercurrent of tension throughout the entire meal, a crackling anticipation that made the air feel charged. And I kept squirming in my chair, crossing and recrossing my legs, hyper-aware of the fact that I wasn’t wearing anything under the dress.

And then Asher served baked Alaska for dessert.

I laughed when I saw it. “You remembered.” We’d spent hours arguing over that particular dish.

“Of course I did.” It was really impressive as he set it on fire, the blue flames dancing across the surface. I had no doubt Asher was going to take the culinary world by storm. None at all. But it was hard to think beyond tonight and what was going to happen soon.
