There were times he regretted doing that.
However, he also knew that he might not be alive today if it weren’t for Dante’s help.
“No, I haven’t. I’ll check with Cash. You want us to come by LittleLand? Yep, we can do that. See you soon.” Ralen ended the call and glanced over at Cash. “Bonnie needs us to go over to LittleLand.”
“Fuck, bad timing. What if we told her what’s going on? She wouldn’t mind if we waited for a while.”
“I don’t know. She said it was important and Bonnie is the Number One priority here. Sorry, Addie. It’s just that our job involves looking after Bonnie. If Bonnie needs us, then we really have to go.”
“Couldn’t you just go, and I’ll stay with Addie?” Cash asked.
Ralen shot him a look that told him what he thought of that idea.
Yeah, Cash got it.
“All right. We’ll just quickly take Addie to the pharmacy, then back to Callahan Security, then we’ll go.”
A small hand grabbed his sleeve. “Drop me off. I can go by myself.”
“Absolutely not,” Cash told her firmly. “You are not going anywhere on your own.”
“Or we could just go there now and take her with us,” Ralen suggested.
“Bring her with us? I don’t know.” He glanced over at Ralen. “Would that be safe?”
Ralen shrugged. “How could LittleLand not be safe? The security there is tight. No one comes in or out without Bonnie or Titus knowing. Honestly, Addie might enjoy it. We will need to talk to Bonnie in private. Addie could hang out in the shop, though. There’d be no one there. There’re cameras everywhere. We can keep an eye on her. Want me to call Ink on our way?”
“Addie, is that all right with you, or would you rather go back to your sisters?” Cash asked.
Addie looked unsure for a moment, but then she nodded. “Let’s go.”

What was LittleLand?
And who exactly was Bonnie?
Addie didn’t know the answer to either question. And she couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous.
Apparently, Bonnie was Number One in their life. They said she was a job, but it sounded like more than that. Were they involved with her? Both of them?
Addie might be an introvert. She might have social challenges, but that didn’t mean she didn’t know what went on in the world.
She watched plenty of TV, she liked to read books, and she kept up with the news. So she knew there were people out there living poly lifestyles.
It was kind of intriguing, not that it would be something she would want. She couldn’t handle one man, let alone two.
Cash pulled up outside a nondescript large building. It was almost like a warehouse with windows that were high up, so she couldn’t see in.
They didn’t go to what she assumed was the front entrance. Instead, they went around the back and Cash input a code into the keypad next to the steel door. They didn’t immediately go into the building. Instead, they entered a small mudroom-like area where they took off their jackets.
She was so glad she had clean clothes. Even the guys had gotten clean clothes from somewhere. Sable had taken their old clothes to get laundered.
The outfit was something she’d have chosen. A pair of black tights, a faux leather skirt, and an oversized white sweater.
Cash took hold of her hand as Ralen led them to another door which required him to put his thumbprint into a scanner, before the door would open. All right, she was starting to see what they meant by security.
They walked straight into a large lounge-like area with a really gorgeous pink velvet sofa and two bright pink velvet armchairs in front of the TV mounted on the wall. The pink theme continued with a light pink kitchen with a white counter and gold handles.
Two ornate chandeliers hung over the island, in front of whic were three white leather bar stools with gold legs.
It should’ve been too much, but instead it was just amazing.
“Bonnie,” Ralen called out. “We’re here.” He and Cash looked almost ridiculous in this room.
And then in walked the woman who belonged to this room. She had pale blonde hair with streaks of pink and blue. It was pulled back into two pigtails. And she wore a pink tutu dress with ruffles at the bottom. Her tights were pink and blue striped. On her feet were big boots with these thick heels. The boots themselves were pink, but the heels were a pale white.
She wore bright pink lipstick and was totally adorable. Even with her thick-heeled boots on, she seemed to be tiny. Even shorter than Addie.
“Oh, hello, who are you?” Bonnie asked, giving her a friendly smile.
Bonnie wasn’t at all what she’d expected, and she found herself smiling back. It would be hard not to smile at Bonnie. She was like a bright candy rainbow.
