Right?
I shook off thoughts of the worst-case scenario of my relationship—was it a relationship—with Sela, and jogged up the steps with full hands. I wanted to surprise her properly, so I tapped the front door with my foot and waited.
And waited.
Eventually, the door opened, and there she was, with wet hair, a towel wrapped around her body, and a shocked smile on her face. “Brock? Your note said you were going to get coffee, not groceries.”
“Not exactly groceries.” I stepped inside and made a straight line to her kitchen, where I fought off images of the first time I had Sela. The taste and the feel of her were right there at the forefront of my mind. I set down the boxes and turned. “More like a morning feast to say Happy Thanksgiving. And Happy Birthday.”
Her smile froze on her lips. She blinked so quickly I thought her lids might fly right off, but she recovered quickly. “Who told you?” The excitement in her voice said this was a welcome surprise, and I made a mental note to get Nix a wonderful thank you gift.
“A little birdie. What would you like first, coffee or something sweet?”
“Yes,” she said, nodding eagerly before she rushed to the boxes, starting with the coffee. She reached for two mugs and poured the coffee, handing me one with a smile. “You really didn’t have to do all of this.”
“First of all, I wanted to. Second, you might hate everything I ordered, so open the boxes and then tell me how amazing I am.”
She laughed. “Amazing? Did I say amazing? I didn’t hear anyone say anyone or anything was amazing.”
Her smile was contagious. “You were thinking amazing, though. Weren’t you?”
She shrugged and looked away before turning to the boxes with wide-eyed excitement. “Pumpkin chocolate croissant! White chocolate and cinnamon cream filling!” She glanced over her shoulder at me and bit her bottom lip. “Carrot cake? I love carrot cake!”
Her joy was palpable, and I wanted nothing more than to kiss that smile, so I stepped forward and slipped my fingers through her damp locks and tilted her head back. “I’m glad. Happy Birthday, Sela.” My lips went to her neck, planting open-mouthed kisses around the front of her throat, and to the other side.
She let out a gasping moan and tilted her head back. “Thank you, Brock.” She smacked a hand over my mouth and took a step back. “Morning breath!” She pushed away from me, turned around, and ran up the stairs, presumably to freshen her breath.
I smiled and took another sip of coffee before I sank my teeth into the chocolate and pumpkin-filled croissant. “That is incredible.” I let out a low moan and took another bite before the first was finished. By the time Sela returned, there was just one bite remaining.
“Delicious, right?”
I turned toward the sound of her voice and the bite of croissant lodged in my throat. The towel was gone, but the t-shirt that stopped mid-thigh was somehow even sexier. “Something is delicious, but I don’t think it’s the pastries.”
Her smile brightened. “You think so?”
I nodded and slid a glance over my shoulder to the counter where I laid her out and feasted on her. “I know so.”
Her entire body flushed hot pink. “Shut up,” she growled and took three steps forward before she jumped into my arms and slammed her mouth against mine. Her tongue flicked between my lips and danced against mine. Every moan she let out, I swallowed it down. She held my face and kissed me like I was the only thing she needed in this world.
My hands gripped her ass—her bare ass—held her close. Her warm thighs cradled my cock, her pussy hot against me. I need her. Now. The thought came to me and worked its way deep into my brain until it was all I could think about. It was one of those earworms that just wouldn’t quit, and then I found my feet moving out of the kitchen and into the living room. I sat down on the sofa so that she straddled my hips.
“Oh, good morning!” She pulled back and smiled down at me and then she dove in again for another kiss. She moaned like I was one of Nix’s pastries that she just couldn’t get enough of, and then her hips began to move. First, it was a slow, back-and-forth motion that made her gasp with every pass. Then, she moved faster, and her breaths came in shallower while her tongue did wicked things to my mouth.
I gripped her tight, pushing and pulling, increasing the pressure against my cock. My cock was painfully hard, and I pushed up against her, loving the guttural sounds she let out.
Sela tore her mouth from mine, panting and smiling. “Need you. Now.” She gripped the hem of her t-shirt and tore it from her body. “Yeah, this is so happening right now.”
