Jasper gritted his teeth. “Fuck, Angel,” he rasped. “So tight.” I tipped my head back as he filled me completely. It felt so right, so perfect. Leaning forward, his eyes never leaving my face, I pressed my hands to his chest and began to rock back and forth.

“I love you,” I said, as I gradually built up the pace. My clit rubbed against his groin as I moved, and his cock hit my G-spot inside me. “Jasper!” I cried, feeling his hips begin to lift, spearing himself inside me more. Jasper gripped my hips, using the leverage to increase the tempo.

“I love you too,” he hushed out, voice tight. I shook my head, unable to take the feeling of coming again. “Come, Angel,” he said, and I rocked back and forth two more times before my entire body tensed and I lit up from my toes to my scalp. I cried out and rode Jasper faster and harder, feeling every bit of my overwhelming orgasm, only for it to sweep through me further when Jasper grunted and came inside me. I opened my eyes and looked down at the man who had captured my heart.

His cheeks were flushed, his body cut with lean muscles and flexing as he poured himself inside me. Using his grip on my hips, he thrust into me three more times before he roared and I dropped to his chest, spent.

Jasper’s breathing was fast, and I let his racing heartbeat beneath my ear lull me into a blissful calm. Jasper’s cock twitched inside me in the aftermath. His hands stroked through my hair.

After a few minutes of silence, Jasper pulled me up to his face. He kissed me, and I sank into him. Moving me beside him, he wrapped his arm around me until we were sharing the same pillow, limbs entwined.

“I can’t believe we’re here, like this,” I said, running my fingers through the dark hairs on his chest.

“I can,” he said. “The minute I knew you were real, not a figment of my drunk imagination, I think my soul knew who you were to me.” He smirked. “I fought it, of course, because I’m a stubborn bastard.” Jasper’s humor dropped. “But mostly, because I think I knew how I would feel about you, given the chance, and with all the threats against my family, against me . . .” He sighed. “I didn’t want you tangled up in that.”

My heart broke for him. He’d already told me about the arson attack, of course. And the family horses being targeted. “Are you sure Henry is okay to be ridden after the break-in?”

“More than,” Jasper said, smiling again. “Wait until you enter the arena on him.” I smiled too, just witnessing the nostalgic happiness spread on Jasper’s face. “He loves the crowd and being the center of attention.” He shook his head. “He’s something else.” Jasper met my eyes. “I want you to show him, Hallie. He deserves it and so do you.”

I kissed him, then asked, “Did he fly in today?”

Jasper shook his head. “We came yesterday.” I frowned in confusion, so he explained. “I didn’t want to leave him behind anymore. Didn’t want to risk it. So I brought him with me. I have friends’ stables all lined up for the tour, secure ones. I wanted him where I could protect him—close by.” Jasper wrapped a strand of my hair around his finger. “But then Huxley went down, and Leon was getting one of our other horses sent over. And I saw it in my head. You riding Henry. He was already here, and I’ve been depriving him of what he loves most—competing.” Jasper shrugged. “There was no debating it. I just knew it was meant to happen. You were meant to show my boy.”

“Thank you,” I said, beyond grateful for this gift.

“Always,” he said, and then added, “We’ll keep it quiet until we get to Saint-Tropez. Just in case.”

I’d been thinking about our next stop on the tour. “How are you feeling about going back to Saint-Tropez?” I asked carefully.

Jasper tensed, but then said, “Not great. I think all I’ll ever see when we go there is Genny being crushed.” He shook his head. “But it’s always going to be on the tour, and we must attend, so my plan is to replace it with good memories. Of you riding and killing it on Henry.”

I laughed. “Not that you’re biased, of course.”

“Never,” he said back, smiling.

“Seriously, thank you,” I said again, curling into Jasper’s broad chest. I closed my eyes, feeling sleep pulling me down. “You’ve made more than one of my dreams come true.”

Sleep began to lull me into unconsciousness, but not quick enough to miss Jasper say, “You are my dream come true, Angel.” Then he kissed my head, and my heart filled with light.
