“Like this?” I eased back out and slammed in hard and stayed again. She felt so fucking good. She took me so well, we were perfect together.

“God, yes!”

I held her hips in place and found a rhythm, my thighs slapping her ass, my dick sliding in deep with every stroke.

“I wanna hear my name when I satisfy you.”

She let out a husky laugh. “Fuck me, Sam. Fuck me good and hard.”

Oh damn. I loved my girl’s dirty talk. I had to hold my breath and look moonward to keep from coming right then.

I changed my grip, one hand holding her nape, the other bracing her hip as I fucked her hard and fast, like she’d asked.

“Yes, Sam! Oh God! Sam!”

There it was. My wolf was in heaven. I filed that memory away with the first one. Guaranteed, I’d be pulling both out tomorrow morning to jerk off in the shower.

I slid my hand at her hip down the outside of her thigh and gripped behind the knee to hike it up for a position change. The angle shifted, and I got even deeper.

“You tell me how you want it, Sparks, and I’ll give it to you.”

“This. Like this,” she panted. “Yes. Harder.”

Harder? Damn. She wanted it like a she-wolf wanted it, and I was happy to oblige. I slid in and out, building to a new crescendo. Clio was right there with me, her keening cries growing shorter, louder, until I was on the verge of losing control.

“Fuck, Clio…fuck. I’m gonna…”

“Yes! Yes, Sam!” she screamed.

I couldn’t wait any longer. I shoved in deep, my balls pumping, filling the condom with hot streams of cum.

Clio clenched around my dick, her orgasm milking my cock for everything there.

“Oh my God,” she panted.

“Fuck, Sparks. It gets better and better.” Euphoria washed over me as I dropped my torso over hers, resting my front against her back and kissing her neck.

My mate was in my arms. I’d just heard her scream my name. Things were definitely looking up.

“Oh God. That was so good,” Clio mumbled. I could feel her heart pounding.

My wolf preened. I eased out of her and knotted the condom, tossing it in the back of the truck where I’d thrown the other one.

Clio turned and studied me. “I thought for sure you were going to leave that condom on the ground at the restaurant,” she said as I zipped up.

I scoffed. “Me? No way. I don’t litter. This land is a gift.” I glanced toward the national forest that rose up only a few blocks behind Ernie’s Garage. She couldn’t have picked a better location to raise a young wolf.

I needed to find out if she knew that.

Clio looked at me as if seeing me for the first time as she fixed her skirt and tucked her hair back. “You love nature?”

I nodded. “‘Course. I’m a Montana cowboy through and through.”

“Hmm. I guess I thought you all might be busy wrangling nature to suit your needs.”

“I grinned. Well, we may be apex predators, but that doesn’t mean we don’t seek harmony with our surroundings.” I was talking more about being a wolf than a rancher. Checking for any signs of recognition.

I didn’t see any, but then, she didn’t know I was a wolf like JT. I wasn’t even sure if she knew JT was one.

She continued to study me. “I like that. It’s refreshing to hear.”

“There’s a whole lot you don’t know about me, Sparks, and so much for me to learn about you. But right now, I know you need to go pick up your little man.”

“I do.” She grabbed her pocketbook from the floor of the truck, and I guided her to her car with a hand at her back. I took her keys from her and opened the door to her Honda Civic. An IndyCar mechanic drove a practical car. I guessed that made sense, especially with a kid. I glanced at the empty container of goldfish crackers and JT’s booster seat in the back and smiled.

I couldn’t believe I had a kid in my life now.

After she climbed in, I leaned on the frame of the car. “Give me your phone.” I held my hand out.

She considered me then handed it to me like she was making some kind of concession.

I texted myself so we’d have each other’s numbers and handed it back. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Tomorrow?” Her brow furrowed. “What’s tomorrow?”

I grinned and winked. “We have a deal, remember? I intend to hold up my end to the very best of my ability. That means daily service.”

She laughed. “Daily service?” She considered me.

“Yep. I follow through on my commitments. So, see you tomorrow.” I swung the door shut.

She started the car and rolled the window down. “Tomorrow, when?”

“You name the time and place.” I pointed at the phone. “You have my number. Otherwise, I’ll be here after bedtime.”
