Of note, especially after his and Dev’s first night together, was that Dev bypassed all the weed and pills on offer.

Cash sat on the outskirts of the party in a lawn chair Dev had provided for him. He wasn’t necessarily with the women. Or club whores as the group referred to the women who were present. There were very few wives or girlfriends at the party. Nor did he sit with the men, who were all either prospects or patched brothers. He sat on the periphery of the good time, pretty much alone.

An enormous bonfire blazed on the side of the property.

The coveted Disciples of Havoc clubhouse sat on the other side. A place Cash was biding his time to explore thoroughly. The party carried over inside. By the way the bikers and their female partners came out, he assumed it was the designated place for sex. Well, the raunchy group had no problem throwing down wherever they stood.

Where Dev hadn’t completely abandoned Cash, he ignored him nonetheless. Dev’s old man on the other hand had made sure Cash was introduced to everyone. Of course, he picked up the subtle digs when Fox explained his and Dev’s relationship status.

The brothers nicknamed him Mr. Clean. He’d been teased about his clean clothes, clean skin, clean hair. Of course, he went along with it, encouraging the humor, marking and memorizing each person he ran across.

About every fifteen minutes, Dev brought a new can of beer to Cash, taking his old one. The biker made a show of opening the new beer can for Cash who never drank a sip. Then Dev would lean over to fondle Cash in a way the entire group could see. Each time, a button came undone. Then he got a massage to the chest or pinch to a nipple. Eventually, Dev’s palm ventured to stroke over his cock, squeezing and molding through the denim.

Each time the subtlety of the action dissipated. Cash’s shirt was completely unbuttoned. His jacket and each lapel pushed to his side. His belt had come off and now hung around his neck like a scarf. The button of his jeans was undone. The zipper lowered marginally. Dev should give a masterclass in teasing seduction. Even in these dire circumstances, Cash’s body responded, seeking out more of Dev’s touch.

The last time Dev came to him, Cash brazenly reached for his biker’s longer pieces of hair, tugging him down for a porn-worthy kiss. When Cash let Dev’s hair and mouth go, Dev’s defiant gaze connected with his. Cash mouthed the word “clubhouse” hoping he’d catch the hint.

Dev had sauntered away as if he hadn’t spoken. He got that they needed to take their time. The more intoxicated the members of the club were, the easier it would be for him to case the entire place. Maybe, whatever sexual act was currently happening in the distance might occupy more of the group gravitating that direction. If so, he wouldn’t even need Dev with him as he checked out the clubhouse.

“Come on.” Dev came into his line of sight.

Cash shoved to his feet, placing the beer can next to the leg of the chair. Dev leaned in close, removing the belt from around his neck then pushed his jacket off his shoulders and carelessly tossed it over the back of the chair.

Dev reached out, drawing their bodies tightly together with one arm.

“Come spend time with me in the clubhouse.” Dev’s palm tenderly caressed down Cash’s back, trailing with purpose over the curve of his ass until his fingers gripped a globe. Their stare held. “I got somethin’ special for you. You’re gonna like it.”

The way Dev tried to seduce him felt very much like an emotional trap. A bad, bad idea. He was too raw to play this game with this man. Cash tried to force reason to the forefront. He glanced over his shoulder to the partygoers. If Dev was putting this performance on for his brothers, it worked. Every eye in the vicinity was on them. But the way Dev handled him felt very real. Reality versus pretend was merging together.

“Open your mouth, baby.”

The way the word baby sounded, caressed Cash’s very soul.

“Someone’s gotta get us home,” Cash murmured. A tiny sliver of rational fear worried he could be drugged right now. He’d let Dev fuck him and love every minute, but he had to stay coherent. Dev’s overwhelming presence was all the misjudgment he could allow himself tonight.

“Open your mouth,” Dev commanded before leaning in to press his lips against Cash’s. The biker stayed right there in Cash’s face as he said, “I got a room here for us. These fuckers better start gettin' used to you being around. I like you here with me.”

His penetrating gaze urged Cash to comply. “Open because it’s me askin’, my pretty boy.”
