No doubt that was the reason the shirttails were left untucked and unbuttoned.

Cash represented Dev’s boy toy. The kind of guy that compels a one-percenter biker to take a beautiful, hulk of a man to a club BBQ.

“You look gay.”

Like hot gay.

Gay put together like a fucking mythological god. Gay in the way every man on the planet wished he looked.

Like gay in a come fuck me cuz I’m so goddamn sexy way.

Dev’s exact kind of gay.

“Which I am.” Cash’s hands splayed out as if it were obvious. “I tried to look like I fit in…”

Dev burst out with a laugh. “You don’t fit in.” Levity was good.

Cash’s brow furrowed to somewhere between worried and crestfallen. “Do I at least look like something you’d break the rules to bring to the party?”

“Goal achieved.” He made sure that hadn’t sounded like a compliment.

“You have the surveillance equipment you’re planting?” Joe asked Cash.

Dev left them there to do whatever it was secret agents did. He couldn’t stay another second in all that nice-smelling cologne and handsome good looks. He had to regroup. Cash regularly stunned him, but man.

Even harder than keeping himself together was the glaring reminder that he had to guard his words. He sucked at not saying exactly what was on his mind the second it landed there. It made him obsessive to have to hang on to his thoughts and keep his trap shut.

The blessed feeling of anger built fast. He sneered, a growl settling in his chest. He grabbed the helmet he generally used and clomped back for the entry. He shoved the brain bucket into Cash’s chest, pissed at himself for being such a fucking pussy.

This wasn’t a game. His life depended on his ability to outmaneuver every motherfucker he encountered. Sure, he was smarter than all those fuckers, but he was used to using brute force to relay a point in any given moment. This bide-your-time bullshit rankled.

He grabbed a thicker jacket and his sunglasses before heading out the door. He didn’t stop until he was hiking a leg over his sled. He glanced over his shoulder, glad to see Cash there. Otherwise, given the option, he’d have left him at the apartment. It’d be safer for everyone.

“Get on,” Dev grumbled.

“I’m not going to fit back there,” Cash said, shutting the back door behind him.

“You’ll fit.” Fifty-fifty chance actually. Dev hoisted the bike between his thighs. “If those tight ass jeans stretch.”

“Why don’t we take your car?” Cash asked, coming to stand right beside him.

Dev sighed. “You want to sell this, right? Not let anyone suspect nothin’?” He waited for Cash’s nod. “My guy would be huggin’ that fat cock against my ass. It’s how we roll. Knowin’ a hot pussy’s back there means somethin’ to that relationship. Get on.”

He didn’t leave room for more discussion by starting the Harley with a roar.

Cash straddling his bike when they arrived wasn’t the requirement he stressed it to be. He wanted to continue to make Cash as uncomfortable with him as he was with Cash.

Cash’s hesitancy made Dev scoot forward on the seat.

The indecision lasted so long he wasn’t sure Cash was going to take his directive. Then the pretty boy hiked a leg over, scooting far back on the pillion. Cash sat down carefully. When the bike didn’t waver, he put his helmet on and positioned his feet.

“You can’t sit that far back. You’re gonna fall off.”

Cash moved slightly closer to Dev’s back.

Oh hell. He immediately recognized the chaos this was going to wreak on his system once they started the ride.

Why was every decision he made a bad one?

“Have you fuckin’ done this before?” Dev shot his chin over his shoulder, glaring at Cash.

“No,” Cash yelled over the rumble.

“Your thighs need to hug my hips and legs,” Dev barked. “You control this ride. You gotta hold on to me. We move together. Scoot as close to me as you can. So close, I could be ridin’ in your lap. Wrap at least one arm around my waist. Otherwise, we’re gonna drop this bitch.”

Cash moved forward, doing exactly as Dev asked.

Motherfucker. This was going to be a long-ass night.

Cash had seen a lot in his days as an undercover agent. He thought nothing could surprise him, but tonight proved him wrong. Many hours into the club BBQ, the scenes playing out in front of him spoke of a bad biker flick. Everything was present. Debauchery, orgies, loads of drugs, and loud, angry rock ‘n’ roll music. The only thing not there was the local law enforcement that should have shut this party down a long time ago.

An intricate stereo system dated back to the 1990s played every rage and emo song he’d ever heard recorded and many he hadn’t. Dev partied hard, easily shifting from group to group. He got along well with everyone, both men and women alike.
