“Fuck.”

“Ouch,” we yelp the words in unison.

The zipper to the pants still fastened to my waist pinches my cock and I’m pretty sure my pull of the same zipper gets her in the ass. Sidney lifts and wiggles out of my lap. I miss her warmth the moment she’s gone.

I trace her movements with my gaze as she tries to tug the fabric of her skirt back down her legs. I shake my head, clasping a hand around her ankle, tugging her back to me.

Placing my hand on the top of her thigh, I enjoy watching the jiggle of her big tits. Turning, I scoop up the ring and take her hand to slip it back in place. I lift my eyes to hers, catching her gaze.

“This never comes off again,” I say firmly.

“Whatever you say, Mr. Hennessy,” she says with a teasing smile, looking up through her lashes.

“Careful, soon-to-be Mrs. Hennessy,” I tease, then pounce.

I remove both our clothes and move her to the center of the bed, where I sink into her welcoming sex and groan. She locks her legs around my waist. I take her lips and drink from her delicious mouth.

“I love you, Clay,” she purrs as I rock into her smoothly.

I’m in no rush. I want to savor her and show her my love. The chase is over. I have the woman I want, and she’ll be mine forever.

“I love you too, baby. I’m never letting you go.”

Chapter 40

Wedding Bells

Clayton

“You’re really going through with this?” Cane asks as he comes up behind me, fixing his tie.

“Of all days, today is not the day to test me, Cane. Yes, I’m going through with this.”

“He’s in love. Leave him,” Gregor says.

Cane snorts. “You’re giving him what he wants.”

I spin from the mirror I’d been fixing my tie in. “It’s not about him. I could give a shit about what he wants. This is about Sid and me. Nothing else.”

Cane lifts his hands and takes a step back. “It was your idea to get out from under him. You said we’d be free. Now, you’re bowing to his demands. I thought better of you, man. A whole lot better of you.”

“I’ve done nothing but make moves to give us our freedom. We’ll still have it. If you could get your selfish head out of your ass, you’d see this works out for everyone in the end.”

“Whatever,” he huffs and storms over to the bar.

Gregor comes over and fixes my tie. He gives me a smile and pats my cheek. “Ignore him. He’s angry because you have what he’s too afraid to admit he wants. This is your day. I didn’t think it would happen, but you got the girl. Your way.”

“And almost lost her,” I grumble. “Maybe after this wedding, I’ll be able to focus, pull all this back in close to home. What the fuck am I missing? Maybe I’ve allowed too many hands in the pot.”

“You can’t have your eyes on everything. You’ve taken on so much as it is. I’ll step in and help out now that I’m back.”

“You have a family of your own to worry about. This is my problem. Besides, I’m the man who knows it all. It’s our business to know what’s going on.

“If I didn’t know better, I’d go back to thinking Dad was behind all of this,” I say bitterly.

“No, I’m a hundred percent sure this isn’t on him.”

“Then who?”

“We can answer that tomorrow. Today, you have a gorgeous bride who loves you waiting to marry your ugly ass,” he teases.

“You wish I were ugly so your fiancée would stop looking at me.”

“That’s my wife. Watch your mouth.”

I narrow my eyes at my older brother. I knew he was keeping something else from me. I punch him in the shoulder when I see the truth in his eyes.

“Does Dad know?”

“I don’t think so. Mom does, she was pissed, but you know how delicate the situation is. I had to make the move when it felt right. We’ll still do all of this. She deserves it.”

I nod and tug him into my embrace. “Congratulations.”

“Thanks. Let’s get you to the altar.”

The golds and ivories all set the room off. This is a wedding to be remembered. There’s a regal feeling about it. It’s fit for a queen.

I stand with my brothers and my best friend at my side as I wait for the love of my life to come down the aisle. I look to David, and he gives me a knowing smile. I’ve come a long way.

My heart stops and my breath is taken away when Sidney comes into view. This venue pales in comparison to her beauty.

Her white dress, with its gold trim, fits her to perfection. It’s classy and elegant while also enticing and flattering to her frame. Her skin is glowing as if covered in a sheen of gold.
