I don’t stop bringing her body pleasure. We lock eyes and I know she’s getting close to another orgasm. I love watching her fall apart like this.

“Haven’t you learned yet? I always win, baby,” I croon as she quivers and comes again. I could do this all night.

“Whatever, Clay,” she says sleepily.

I kiss her head and fall back, taking her with me. I can’t help smiling up at the ceiling as she relaxes against my chest.

Chapter 30

The Gang is Here

Clayton

With Gregor and Chloe back, my parents have requested everyone’s presence at their home. This day has been full of surprises. As I watch my father tonight, I get the feeling not all of them are surprises to him at all.

I think I might be underestimating him. Something I thought I learned better than. However, he gets more crafty with age. I look at my younger brother, who hasn’t quite mastered being cunning, no matter how much he thinks he has.

I’ve been distracted, but with Gregor back, Cane is on my radar. I’m going to zone in on what he and Ally think they’re getting over on everyone.

I saunter over to a nervous-looking Cane. To anyone who doesn’t know him, he’d look as cool as a cucumber. However, from the years of watching him when he starts to spiral, I know better.

“I have enough on my plate. You want to tell me what’s going on with you?” I question.

“Nothing’s going on.” He shrugs.

“You told me I could use your apartment for Ally. The apartment you said you wouldn’t have any use for,” I tilt my head. “Why are you still here in New York?”

“Last time I checked, it was my apartment. There’s plenty of room for her and me to coexist,” Cane says dryly. “Besides, Royce has been helpful to you guys. If I go, he goes.”

I roll my eyes. We’ll make do without Royce, and he knows it. It’s a bullshit excuse. “What are you hiding?”

“Not everyone’s hiding something, Clay,” he huffs.

“You’re not everyone,” I retort.

“I like hanging out with her. I thought you guys wanted me around more,” he mumbles.

“I always want you around, but I’m warning you. Ally is important to Sid and Chloe. Gregor will kill your ass and I will help him,” I say pointedly. “Don’t get her into any of that shit you like landing yourself into.”

He snorts. “Are you forgetting? She knows how to get into her own trouble.”

I run a hand through my hair. I don’t need the reminder. That’s one more issue I need to silence. I’m starting to feel like everything is caving in around me.

“Don’t worry about it, bro. I’m not good enough for her. I know I’m not,” he hisses before storming off.

“What’s all that about?” Gregor asks as we both watch Cane rush out of the house.

I turn my head and narrow my eyes, taking note that Ally is watching him. She looks as if she may go after him. Her gaze turns back to her sister, a frown creases her face and her shoulders sag.

“He’s using,” I bite out.

“You’re fucking bullshitting me, right?” Gregor grinds out.

“Nope, he owes, and he owes big. Those two think everyone around them to be idiots. She’s into some shit that’s taking a shitload of favors to try to get her out of.” I nod my head toward Ally.

Gregor pulls a hand down his face. “How much time do we have to fix this one?” he grunts.

“Ally’s out of time. I’ve been keeping her hidden. I’ll tell you about that later. As for Cane, I think it’s time we fall back and let him figure shit out,” I reply.

Gregor turns hard eyes on me. I already know what he’s thinking. However, this isn’t the same thing.

“You sound like Dad,” he growls. “I didn’t leave you to figure it out.”

“I wasn’t stuffing white powder up my nose either. He has a problem, gambling debts and crazy-ass girlfriends, fine. We can get him out of that shit any time. This other bullshit will have us digging a grave for him, not keeping him from one. It has to stop,” I hiss back.

“Fuck,” Gregor blows out. “This is the last thing I need.”

“Tell me about it. I’m still trying to wrap my head around all of this shit you brought to our door.” I shake my head.

“You?” he snorts.

I pat him on his shoulder. “I’m here. Whatever you need. You did the right thing. She loves you.” I squeeze his shoulder.

He nods. “She’s mine. I didn’t plan any of this, but they’re both mine,” he sighs.

“Clay,” I turn to look at David rushing toward me.

I groan internally. I guess things are about to get louder around here. I know that look on his face.

“What now?” I grit out.

“You’re going to want to see this, boss,” he says, handing over a printed email.
