“Okay. That’s enough.” My wife can’t take anymore. “Why don’t we undress the dog? Then we’ll have a little talk about this.” Milly swallows, and I see the laughter in her gorgeous blue eyes.

Once we remove the awful costume from the dog, we send the boys up to shower.

“Another catastrophe handled.” My little peach laughs the minute our boys are out of earshot. “At least they didn’t get their crowns out and put them on the dog.” My wife still has a hard time accepting that my brother sent each child an ornate crown to celebrate their christening. We ended up storing them in a display case in the game room. One day the boys will appreciate their heritage.

“Thank God there are only two of them,” I agree. I love our children, but they are a handful. “I’m not sure Silver Spoon Falls could survive any more of our children.”

“I’m not sure the entire planet could survive more De Angelis children, but we’re going to find out.”

Surely, I misunderstood her. “What?”

“Surprise.” My wife laughs. “Get ready for another prince or princess to join our brood.”

My heart drops to my toes as I remember all the hell she went through the last pregnancy. “Are you okay?”

“I’m great,” Milly assures me. “And there’s only one this time, so Dr. Fielding is pretty sure I won’t have such a hard time.”

I walk up and wrap my arms around my little peach. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.” She snuggles against me. “And we can celebrate later, but right now, we need to go check on your sons. They’ve been quiet way too long.”

My wife’s instincts are dead on, and we end up having to save the dog from a bubble bath.

Later that night, I stare at the ceiling while my wife sleeps next to me and wonder how we’re going to survive another child. Lucien and Noah already keep us on our toes twenty-four hours a day.

Karma takes mercy on me. Eight months later, Milly gives birth to a little girl who looks just like her. Our little Madeline turns out to be a quiet, easy-going child. Until she hits her teens. Then all hell breaks loose. But it’s nothing we can’t handle together.

I’m the luckiest man alive. I have my little peach to help me deal with all the teenage girl drama, my man cave for me and my two sons to hide out in, and my MC brothers to keep me sane. Life couldn’t be any better.
