Their talking stops, but no one answers the door.

“Bree!” I demand.

I can hear her walk to the door, but she doesn’t open it. “Logan… what are you doing?”

Half-frustrated, I ask, “What are you doing?”

She giggles. “Uh, I’m getting ready for our wedding.”

I lean my forehead against the wood door. “Well, are you almost done?”

Slowly, the door opens, and I raise up. I’m not the least bit prepared for the vision in front of me. “Bree…” I breathe.

She smiles widely at me. “Logan.”

She pulls the door open wider, and I look at her. She’s wearing a form-fitting white dress, her hair is flowing down her shoulders, and her lips are painted a pretty pink. She literally takes my breath away. “You’re so beautiful.”

She leans against the doorway. “You’re pretty handsome yourself.”

My sister comes toward us. “Okay, well, now that I can see she’s taken care of, I’m going to go and let everyone know we’re starting early.”

I just nod, and Bree thanks my sister.

“So we’re doing this,” Bree says.

I nod, staring at her because I can’t get enough. “I don’t want to wait another second to start my life with you.”

I lean down to kiss her, and she leans into me. I deepen the kiss, and when she moans, I reluctantly break it off. “Are you ready?”

She nods, and I smooth my thumb across her lip. “I messed up your lipstick.”

She shrugs. “It’s okay. I have a feeling you’re just going to smudge it again.”

I laugh. “Guaranteed.”

I hold my hand out to her, and she puts hers in it. I thread our fingers together. “You ready?”

She leans her head back to look up at me. “Am I ready to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life?”

I bring her hand up between us and kiss her knuckles, and she leans into me. “Yeah, I’m ready.”

I pull her through the church, and she’s huffing as we get to the aisle. “Are we in a hurry?”

I nod my head. “Yeah, I need my ring on your finger.”

She laughs and pats my chest. “Oh, Logan. Don’t you know? I don’t need a ring or a piece of paper. I have been yours since the first day I laid eyes on you in that bodega.”

“Same,” I say as I lean down and kiss her.

I gesture to the other end of the aisle. My sister, Skyler, and all my brothers are standing up there next to the pastor. They’re all beaming at us, and I couldn’t stop smiling even if I tried.

Hand in hand, we walk down the aisle, ready to make it official. She’s mine, and I’m hers. And together, we can build the life we’ve always dreamed of.

EPILOGUE

BREE

Three Months Later

I’ve been laughing so hard that my cheeks are hurting. Seeing Logan with all his siblings is, well, pure chaos. They’re always picking on each other and giving each other crap, but in it all, it’s easy to see that they all love each other.

Guy and Ozzy are in the corner playing cards. I know that they’re either talking about ranching or baseball because they talk about that a lot.

Miller is on his phone looking grumpy again.

Penn is even here today with Aria, even though they seem to be avoiding each other.

Zach is over at the grill with Logan and Sky, and Aria and I are doing some last-minute touchups on side dishes.

“So… how is it being married to my brother?” Skyler holds her hands up. “No returns, so if you’ve changed your mind—”

She’s smiling ear to ear, teasing me, and I laugh, deciding that I’ll tease her right back. “Oh, you want to know what it’s like being married to Logan? Well, last night we…” I pause and wiggle my eyebrows at her.

She scrunches up her nose. “No, absolutely not. Do not say another word. I don’t want to hear about my brother…” She starts making gagging noises just as Zach walks in, and he comes at her with concern etched on his face. “Oh no, baby, are you all right?”

He puts a hand to her belly. Skyler is only a few months pregnant, but that doesn’t faze Zach. He doesn’t let her lift a finger.

She covers his hand with hers. “No, this time it wasn’t your baby… it was my sister-in-law trying to tell me about—ugh, I can’t even say.”

I just giggle at her theatrics.

Logan is manning the grill, and even though he’s only a few feet away, I miss him.

I grab a cold beer and let Aria and Skyler know I’ll be right back. I walk toward him, and I love the way he looks me up and down as I approach. “Here you go.”

He wraps an arm around me and pulls me to him as he takes the beer. “Baby, you just brought me one not five minutes ago. Are you missing me? Or trying to get me drunk so you can take advantage of me later?”
