“One day at a time, Little bunny. Can you give me that?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

He smiles broadly. “Good girl.”

Chapter Eight

Preparing to leave is surreal. Daddy does everything. He dresses me in a diaper, T-shirt, leggings, and tennis shoes. Afterward, he moves around my room gathering up the things I tell him are important to me. I hand him my bunny and watch as he tucks her into my suitcase.

He takes me to the bathroom where he parts my hair and gives me two perfect long braids. “How’d I do?”

I can’t help but smile. “Perfect.”

When he’s satisfied we have everything, he secures my home, loads me into the center of the backseat of his rental car, and hands me a bottle. “You need to eat. You haven’t had anything today at all.”

I’m definitely hungry, but I wait until we’re on the highway to lift the bottle, glancing both ways every now and then to make sure no one is watching me.

Daddy glances at me in the rearview mirror. “The rear windows are tinted, Little bunny. No one can see you.”

The entire thing is surprisingly easy. My car is in my garage. My laptop and work I need to do before school starts are in the suitcase. He didn’t take many of my clothes, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be needing much.

“How long does it take to get to the ferry?” I ask him after I finish the bottle.

“Three hours. Are you tired? Do you want to nap?”

I shake my head. “No. I’ve slept a lot lately.”

“Then let’s get to know each other better. I’ll ask you a question, and then you can ask me one.”

“Okay.”

“What’s your favorite color?”

“Red,” I tell him. “Yours?”

“I’m not sure I had one, but suddenly it’s red.” He winks at me in the mirror.

I giggle. “What’s your favorite food?”

“Ice cream.”

I giggle again. “That’s not a food.”

“Why not? It’s got dairy and eggs. It’s practically breakfast.” He’s teasing me.

“So, we’re going to have ice cream for breakfast every day?”

“Nope. You’re going to have bottles for a while. While we do have ice cream on the island, all the food there is healthy and organic. What we have is frozen yogurt. You won’t be eating anything solid like that at first though.”

“Frozen yogurt isn’t exactly solid,” I point out.

He chuckles. “You sure are sassy for a Little girl who insists she doesn’t want her bottom spanked.”

I squirm in my seat. I’ve realized that the bulk of the diaper not only forces my legs to stay wider than usual, but it also opens me up so that every time I move, my sensitive skin grazes the thick material.

“How long do I have to take bottles?” I ask to distract myself and ignore his comment.

“Until the doctor thinks it’s time to introduce solid foods.”

“So roughly when might I be eating a piece of pizza?” I inquire.

He laughs. “Roughly never if you keep asking.”

I sigh and drop my shoulders. “I like pizza,” I grumble.

“I’ll remember that.”

I decide it’s in my best interest to change the subject away from foods and move on to movies and music and books. We have a lot in common. Our conversation is so normal, which surprises me. He doesn’t talk to me like I’m a baby, though he does dominate me in between.

His dominance keeps me squirming. Ironically, his most frequent interjection is to command me to stop squirming. Not because he cares if I move around, but he tells me the first time it’s because he knows I’m trying to rub my pussy against my diaper.

Caught red-handed, I don’t even bother to deny the truth. I hold my breath and sit very still while he chuckles.

The time passes quickly, and I feel like I know him much better by the time we arrive at the ferry. I’m far less nervous as I hold his hand and let him guide me to the ticket counter and onto the boat.

He continues to hold my hand as he leads me up to the top deck, which is outside.

I’m giddy when we finally pull away from the dock. “It’s so beautiful out here.” I’m standing between his legs, facing the ocean.

“Yes.” He holds my hips and kisses my neck. “The breeze is slightly chilly today, so I’m going to leave your leggings on while we’re on the ferry, but when we get to the island, I’m going to take them off before we disembark.”

I glance over my shoulder at him.

He kisses my nose. “Littles only wear T-shirts and diapers on the island, Little bunny. It will only seem strange for a short while until you realize you’re not alone.”

I try not to think about this new development. Instead, I focus my attention on the waves, the breeze, the sunshine, and the dot in the distance that grows closer by the minute.

An hour later, we’re docked. Daddy removes my shoes right where we’re sitting. He pulls off my leggings and puts my shoes back on.
