I merely shaft my hips up, burying myself even deeper in her bottom as she lets out a surprised squeal.

“Oh yeah, there’s going to be a next time, baby. And it starts now.”

With that, our loving begins again, the torrent growing into a dark hurricane that tears us apart while simultaneously showering us in the brightest lights. But I wouldn’t have it any other way because with this precious woman in my arms, happiness has arrived.

The next morning, I wake up, startled. Where am I? My own bed is big, but this one is massive even if I can’t see very well in the dim light of the room. But then my bottom bumps against a hardness, and I become aware of a solid, heavy arm around my waist.

I made love to Clancy Quinn last night. My stepfather, or ex-stepfather more accurately. We did it so many ways that I’m sore and achy now, my bottom tingling a bit from his repeated punishment. But it was so good and I don’t regret it one bit. In fact, I have half a mind to initiate another session right now, and smile to myself. What would Clancy say if I woke him with a sloppy wet blowjob? He wouldn’t say anything, that’s what. He’d be shooting into my mouth within moments, and I’d swallow every precious drop.

But when I make to duck beneath the covers, he stirs and then his eyes lift open.

“What are you doing?” he asks in a suspicious voice.

This is not the tone I was hoping to hear, but I merely bat my lashes at him.

“What do you think I’m doing?” I ask playfully while squeezing his shaft in my small palm. “I’m giving you the best wake-up call ever.”

But Clancy’s not having it. He pulls away from me, not meeting my eyes and practically bolts from the bed. Then, he’s hurriedly rummaging around in his dresser for clothes. He’s still naked, and I can’t help but stare at the toned, sleek muscles of his back and shoulders. Not to mention his ass. I’ve never been a girl that focuses a lot on appearances, but damn. Clancy isn’t just hot for being nearly twice my age—he’s hot in general. He’s more fit than most of the guys I know, and it’s because he’s a beast in the gym. Clancy works out every morning, rain or shine, and the results are right here before my eyes. But back to the present. Why is he in such a jumpy mood, like he wants to avoid me?

“Is something wrong?” I ask, one eyebrow arching while clasping the sheet to my breasts. I’m still nude in his bed, so the billionaire doesn’t get to ignore me.

But he doesn’t answer, bending down to fuss at something. For the first time, I notice that he’s not in work wear. Instead, he’s dressed in a casual t-shirt and gym shorts, and I stare at him.

“Are you going for a run?”

He nods once, gruffly, not bothering to look me in the eye although he does turn to face me so I can see his unhappy expression. What happened to the passionate, sensitive man that I met last night? Why has he suddenly turned back into this icy jerk who looks like he’s got a stick up his ass that really hurts?

“I’m going for a run,” he says in a short tone, still not meeting my eyes. “We’ll talk later.”

Oh no. He doesn’t get to brush me off just like that. Instead, I hop out of bed, feeling more invigorated than I have in a long time.

“I’ll join you,” I say. “Just let me go grab a pair of leggings and a sports bra.”

At that, Clancy looks almost angry. “No.”

I blink in surprise. “No?”

He shakes his head. “No. Absolutely not.”

This man is infuriating, and I feel my temper start to flare.

“Well, why not?” I demand, crossing my arms over my chest, knowing that it makes my breasts look bigger. His gaze drops to my cleavage and a light flickers there as I smirk. I know he wants to suckle my tits right now, and I’m giving him a good look at what he’s going to lose out on if he pisses me off. But Clancy quickly shifts his eyes away so that he’s looking at nothing in particular.

“I need the alone time,” he hedges. “Besides, I always run alone.”

I roll my eyes. “That’s stupid. Running is way more fun with company. Come on, we can motivate each other! Plus, I’ve got a skimpy little running outfit with your name on it,” I tease.

Unfortunately, the offer doesn’t entice Clancy like I’d hoped it would, but he doesn’t object at least. Instead, he merely shakes his head once more in frustration as I prance out of the room.

“Just give me a second!” I call. “Let me change and pee, and then we can go.”
