I managed to sink the rest of mine and studied the eight ball. I had zero shots.

“What’s the matter, princess? No shot?”

I glared at him before attempting to bank the cue. I barely missed the eight.

Roger puffed out his chest and said, “Let’s get this over with now so I can have some fun with you.”

Rolling my eyes, I let out a dramatic sigh.

Roger lined up the cue ball and then hit and sank the eight.

“I hate losing,” I grumbled. “I believe we said best out of three.”

He tossed his cue stick onto the pool table and stalked over to me. He picked me up, tossed me over his shoulder, and smacked my ass.

Laughing, I tried to get down, but he quickly moved through the house and into a bedroom that didn’t appear to be his own.

“Strip down. I’ll be right back.”

Before I had a chance to utter a single word, he was out the door. I glanced around the room as I sat up in the bed. Was this a guest room? Had he just been that eager? I turned to see the wrought-iron bedframe and smiled. Maybe that was it.

Slipping off the bed, I walked over to the dresser and opened it.

Empty.

I checked the closet next.

Empty.

Before I had a chance to think about it more, the door opened, and Roger walked in, stark-ass naked with something around his neck. As he moved closer, I laughed.

“Are those your work neckties?” I asked.

He flashed me a wicked smile and motioned for me to get on the bed.

“Lie down, Anna.”

I completely forgot what I was going to ask him as I let my eyes travel down his perfect body. His large, muscular chest led to a narrow waist. Washboard abs gave way to that famous “V” women went mad over. And his dick…oh, my goodness. It stood erect, bobbing against his body and perfect in every way.

Dropping onto the bed, I moved to the middle and bit down on my lip. I had never done anything like this before, and I was both nervous and excited.

“Roger…” I started to say as I sat up, and he went completely still.

“We don’t have to do this, Anna.”

I smiled when I saw the tenderness in his eyes. “I want to. It’s just, I’ve never done this before, so…”

His hand cupped the side of my face. “Neither have I.”

“Why me? What made you want to do this with me?”

He frowned and broke eye contact with me for the briefest of moments. Something moved across his face, and I wanted more than anything for him to share his thoughts with me.

When his eyes met mine again, he spoke so softly I could barely hear him. “I want to explore every inch of your body and memorize everything. Every moan, whispered plea, how your body reacts to my touch. I want to know it all. And I want you to feel me touching you, to memorize what it feels like to have my hands and mouth on your body.”

Swallowing hard, I let out a nervous laugh. Was it my imagination, or did that almost sound as if this would be our last time together?

I knew Roger had said he wanted to see where this went. I couldn’t help but keep thinking about his words back in Chicago. It was stupid; he was trying and being so vulnerable, so why did something feel off?

He leaned in and kissed me softly on the lips while he ran his hand down my arm. Pushing me back onto the bed, he lifted my arm over my head, then reached for one of his neckties. He tied my left wrist to the headboard, ensuring I could slip out if I wanted to. Then he kissed along my neck, down my chest, and took one of my nipples into his mouth. I arched my back and moaned.

He went to work tying up my other hand. When he held up a third necktie, I raised my brows in question. “Blindfold?” A rush of wetness spread between my legs, and I had to rub them together to ease the throb.

“Lift your head.”

I did as he asked and blew out a shaky breath when he placed the necktie over my eyes.

“Is that okay?” he asked.

“Y-yes,” I breathed out.

Then his heat was gone.

“Roger?” I asked in a panicked voice.

“I’m right here, princess.”

The tension eased out of my body when I felt him. His hands moved slowly up each leg, gently spreading me open to him. The fact that I couldn’t see what he was going to do next made my body thrum with an awareness I never knew I possessed.

I jumped when he placed a kiss on my inner thigh. His hand landed on my lower stomach, and I felt my breath pick up.

Kiss me there, I silently urged.
