“What time do you get out of here?” He sounded husky and impatient.
“After lunch. Hunter arranged a private plane to Louisiana for me at six. Are you coming with me?”
“Hell, yeah! If you’ll be there, I wouldn’t be anywhere else.”
Her smile widened now that all her dreams were coming true. “I…um, arranged to spend a few days at Jack’s cabin, too.”
“Even better. You smart, smart woman. This is going to be good.” He kissed her again. “I knew there was a reason I loved you.”
“Don’t ever forget it,” she said softly.
“Never. From now on, you’re mine. Nothing and no one will ever come between us again.”
“Ever,” she vowed before they sealed their love with a kiss.
