Meghan

I slammed the side of my fist against the door to the sorority house that Connie stayed in. Enough was fucking enough. I didn’t need Julian to fight my fucking battles for me. I had been raped not once, but twice, and I fucking survived both times.

She had no idea who she was fucking with.

One of the cheerleaders answered the door wearing nothing but a skimpy bikini that barely covered her assets. I twisted my face up in distaste. “I need to speak to Connie,” I told her as I shoved my hands in the pockets of Julian’s oversized black hoodie.

She rolled her eyes before she turned and shouted that Connie had company.

Then, she slammed the door in my face.

I rolled my eyes at the typical bitch behavior and leaned against the porch railing, waiting on Connie to make her presence known. Almost five minutes later, she stepped out onto the porch wearing a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and a shirt that showed way too much cleavage.

“Meghan!” she exclaimed, a fake smile pulling at her lips. “What a surprise.”

“Cut the bullshit.” I snarled at her as I stood back up to my full height. Her fake smile fell from her face as she glared at me. “I don’t know what the fuck you suddenly have against me, but posting stupid shit on Twitter and then sending that fucking mass message about me being pregnant and a slut were fucking low, even for the likes of you.”

She stepped up close to me, but I didn’t back down. I’d grown up fighting, and this little bitch didn’t intimidate me. Against grown men, I wasn’t all that tough, but this was nothing more than a jealous slut.

“You don’t belong here, Meghan. You never will. You and Julian? It’s a fucking game for him. He just wants to see how long he can slide his dick in you until he gets bored, and he tosses you aside just like he’s done every other woman before you. Faking a pregnancy to keep him with you is stupid and hopeless.”

I barked out a laugh. “You mean like he did you?” I demanded. Her face paled. “Julian told me all about how you’re obsessed with him. He gave in one night, and since then, you’ve been like a blood-sucking leech. And fake a pregnancy?” I barked out a laugh, rolling my eyes. “Bitch, if I didn’t have to throw up numerous times a day, trust me, I fucking wouldn’t. But I am pregnant. Call it a lie all you fucking want, but Julian was in that hospital room with me when the doctor told me. So go fuck yourself,” I snarled.

She moved to shove me down the porch but living with my drug-addicted mother for so long, I was quicker than she was. I quickly dodged her hands and slammed my fist against her face, sending her sprawling backward across the porch. “Holy shit!” I heard a random guy yell. “Cat fight!”

Connie screeched as she jumped up off the ground and rushed at me. We fell back off the porch, but I blocked the pain out when I landed on my back. Using my thighs, I squeezed my legs around her hips and flipped us over.

“Get off of me!” she yelled as she yanked at my hair.

I punched her in the face again. “You’re going to tell everyone that post was absolute bullshit!” I yelled at her. “You’re a fucking lying cunt!”

She spit up in my face, and she used that moment to try to hit me in my stomach, but I blocked her hit.

And that was it.

I fucking lost it, and I became the girl I used to be when I had to protect myself from my mom and her drunk boyfriends.

She was crying and bleeding beneath me, but I didn’t stop. I was seeing red.

“Meghan, baby, stop,” Julian said as he wrapped his arms around me, locking my arms against my side. “She’s unconscious, baby girl,” he soothed as he pressed his lips to my temple.

“I hate her,” I seethed, my chest heaving up and down.

Julian pulled me up to my feet. “I know, babe, but you need to calm down.” His voice was firm but still somehow gentle. “Let’s get you out of here, yeah?” He looked up at Axel and Joey. “Get that bitch inside. Her fucking friends are too busy freaking out about all of the blood to help her.”

With his arm wrapped around my waist, he led me to his car. He set me in his passenger seat and knelt in front of me with some wet wipes in his hands. “How did you know I was here?” I asked him.

He laughed softly as he fished his phone out of his pocket and pulled up his social media account. “Live video of you bashing her face into the ground,” he told me. “Axel came across it—fucking shouted the house down cheering for you.”
