“Hey man what’s up?”

“Where does she live?” I ask him and he looks at me

“Who?”

“Dove fuckhead, where?” he gives me the directions and I head out to my bike.

As I pull into her complex I feel eyes on me everywhere the coldness of the place and the eeriness of the darkness making the place look ominous. “What a fuckin’ shithole” I tell myself as I get off of my bike and head towards her door. As I get to the apartment number Chase told me I touch the door and it opens “Jesus” I step inside frownin’ at the shitty fuckin’ bedsit. “Fuckin’ hell” I say walkin’ in, the one room place makes me feel like I’m in jail. The tiny bathroom with just enough room for a shower and toilet. I pull my phone out and call Chase

“Yeah man what can I do for ya?” he asks

“Bring the van to your old place”

“On my way.” I look around again at the shithole shakin’ my head (no fuckin’ way is she livin’ here anymore) Chase pulls up Twenty minutes later with Blaze in the passenger seat and he nods

“Told ya” he says

“Hey baby, I’ll suck your dick for a fix” a junky bitch says walking up to Chase and he pushes her back

“Don’t fuckin’ touch me cunt” he says and she walks off mumbling to herself

“Let’s get this shit done” I tell them needin’ to get this done and fast, they follow me up the path to her door

“How long did you live here?” I ask Chase and he looks up at me

“About two years”

“Was Dove here the whole time you were here?” he shakes his head

“Nah, she was here way before me.” I grind my teeth just thinkin’ about her livin’ here this whole time

“Is this it?” Blaze asks and I nod

“Yep, just grab all the boxes in the corner” I tell them already packed her clothes and shit in garbage bags

“Fuck this is depressing” Blaze says lookin’ at me and I nod in agreement

“I fuckin’ know” I tell him and he looks at his brother

“Was your place this depressing?” Chase looks around

“Nah, mine was worse” he says and I can’t even imagine how much worse it could be, as far as I could see I would have killed myself years ago if I had to live here.

It takes about Five minutes and we were out of there, the tingle that was running down my spine the whole time eases the further we got away from that place. I ride straight to my house and pull into the driveway the boys pullin’ up behind me and I see Blaze’s face

“You’re movin’ her in?” he asks me as I pull my keys out nodding

“She ain’t stayin’ at that fuckin’ room of despair” I tell him grabbin’ a box and headin’ to the door. I haven’t been here that much since Jewel left but for some reason I just couldn’t sell the place, I bought it a few years ago and loved the place straight away. Than when Jewel and I got together she moved in and stayed for three years until she left, but the house was my dream home that I envisioned living in for years to come. The back patio was perfect for parties and the cinema room and small gym sold it for me, I know I didn’t need the three other bedrooms but the house was great and the kitchen was huge. After we pack all the shit into the house I swap my bike out for my truck and Blaze looks at me

“So, what now?” he asks as I lock the door

“Fillin’ the pantry”

“Aren’t ya forgetting something” he says and I turn and look at him

“No what?” I ask and he rolls his eyes at me

“Hello fuckhead the kid, what the fuck is she gonna sleep in” (fuck I didn’t even think of the kid)

“Fuck!” I say and Blaze laughs

“You need to buy the kid a cot and a fuckin’ car seat” he says and I remember watchin’ Dove place the kid in the back seat of her car in that basket and even I know that shit is dangerous

“Fuck this is gonna cost me an arm and a leg” I mumble and Blaze laughs again

“Fuck Brother this is gonna cost you way more than that” he says walkin’ off laughin’ his head off and I give him the finger as he laughs even louder as the two of them drive off down the driveway (asshole).
