My hand falls away from my core as Raiden’s grip on my hips loosens.
“Oh fuck,” I breathe, the trembles slowly beginning to pass.
Raiden slowly eases out of me, leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to the curve of my ass before finally collapsing in a heap beside me. I let my knees fall out, unable to hold myself up a second longer, and I scramble higher on the bed until my head rests firmly against his warm chest, both of us still gasping for air.
“Holy shit, Firecracker,” he rumbles, his arm curling around my body and grasping my ass, his fingers squeezing as though he couldn’t bear the thought of not having my ass in his hand. “That right there . . . That’s how I want to wake up every fucking morning for the rest of my life. That sweet cunt staring up at me like that. Goddamn, baby. If only you knew how you looked like that. I’ve never seen anything so fucking beautiful in my life.”
A grin stretches across my lips, and I push up onto my elbow as I take him in. “Is that so?” I ask, my brows arched.
“Mm-hmm.”
“Okay, well, if that one’s your favorite, then I suppose you don’t need to see what I had in mind.”
He immediately meets my stare, looking at me as though I just stole his heart right out of his chest. “Whoa, whoa, whoa, Firecracker. There’s no need to be hasty. I’m up for the challenge.”
I shrug my shoulder, teasing him. “Oh, I don’t know. To be honest, I’m not sure you could handle the heat.”
“Baby, I can handle the heat.”
I arch a brow and scramble over him, straddling his hips as his hands fall to my thighs. “Okay, if you insist,” I say with a wicked smirk, before leaning down toward my bedside table and riffling through it. I pull out a set of fuzzy handcuffs and let them dangle from my fingers, showing him exactly what I have in mind, and he gapes, realizing that I might just be right.
“Whoa,” he says, holding up a finger, but I shake my head and lock the cuff around his wrist before leading it up toward the headboard.
“You told me you could handle it,” I grin, my hips already grinding over him, but he voluntarily offers me his other hand, down for the ride, even if it kills him. “Buckle up, Raiden. Because I’m in control now, and you’re about to learn exactly how dangerous I can be. You think you know, but you haven’t seen anything yet.”
And with that, I finish cuffing him to the headboard, and as my hands brace against his strong chest, I get to work, destroying us both in the most delicious way.
