"No," he replied quickly before pushing his glasses onto his forehead to wipe his eyes. "It was perfect; you're perfect. I'm just so happy."
"Oh, sweetheart." I eased my softening cock from his body and lay beside him, pulling him on top of me. His cum squished between our chests and he nuzzled his face into my neck, his tears wetting my skin. "You've made me happier than I thought was possible." I hugged him tightly and buried my nose into his hair, breathing in his sweet scent. It soothed my soul and brought me peace.
Soon, I'd help him from bed and cleanse his skin, and then tuck him in next to me so that I could hold and protect his body all night. But for now, I needed to bask in the moment with the first and only man I'd ever love.
Chapter Five
Brandon
I woke up and smiled at the feel of Talon's arms wrapped around me. His embrace was warm and loving, and I felt protected even though he was sound asleep. I'd never slept with another man, but now there was no way I could ever go back to sleeping alone.
My smile turned into a wince when I felt pins and needles in my arm; it was tucked beneath my weight and was numb and tingly. I rolled over and grimaced at another, more intense pain in my ass. Talon was well endowed and had stretched me open. It felt amazing at the time, but left me tender.
I eased out of bed, making sure not to disturb Talon. The soreness between my cheeks intensified when I stood up and I knew that I needed something to soothe it, so I threw on Talon's t-shirt and my glasses and I waddled like a cowboy with hemorrhoids out of the room (closing the door quietly behind me) and struggled down the stairs towards the kitchen.
"Please have an ice pack," I grumbled aloud, and then yelped in surprise when I turned the corner and found Cedric standing next to the dining table, stirring something in a large bowl.
"Are you okay?" he asked worriedly.
My face burned hot as I stuttered, "Oh, yeah, I, um, I was just…" I had no answer that wasn't mortifying.
But Cedric gazed down at my body and smiled knowingly at my wide-legged stance. He stepped over to the freezer and pulled out a bag of frozen peas, which he handed to me. "Here you go - for your bum."
My cheeks heated even more, but I took the back and muttered, "Thank you," because even if it was embarrassing, it was necessary. I placed the bag on a chair and sat on it gently, sighing with relief when the coldness penetrated through the thin cotton of the shirt I wore. Oh god, I'm only wearing a shirt!
As if Cedric heard my internal turmoil, he took a seat next to me and said, "Please don't be embarrassed. Like I said, we're all family here. Don't worry about having to look or dress a certain way; none of us mind. Enzo and Felix may mention it just to piss off Talon for fun, but that's all." The heat disappeared from my face and I managed a smile. Cedric was so kind and calming, it was hard to stay worked up around him. "And as far as the activities that required an ice pack," he added with a wink, "You two are in love. It's beautiful."
"Thank you, and I'm sorry for being weird. All of this is new to me; friends, a boyfriend, the um…activities."
"You're not weird," he insisted, "And you've now got friends for life, and it's so special that you shared your first experience with your true love."
His words were sweet, but they raised a curiosity. "So you believe that it's possible to find your true love so quickly?" I knew what I felt for Talon, but I wanted an outsider's opinion.
"Of course I do. I believe that it only takes an instant; one look into the eyes of your soulmate to know that you've found the one who will love you unconditionally and is everything you need."
"I struggle a little with that part," I admitted, and Cedric gave me a questioning look. "Talon is perfect for me; strong, sexy, and passionate with a surprising dash of nerdiness…but I don't understand how I can be enough for him."
"Oh, sweetie," Cedric sighed, taking my hand. "You are everything to that man. I can tell from the pride in his voice when he speaks about you, and the way he looks at you as if you can walk on water. Just like you need him to feel protected and cherished, he needs you to ground him and give him purpose. You were made for each other and crossed paths by design." He squeezed my hand and finished, "Fate always gives us what we need."
