I grinned down at him, feeling like I’d won a gold medal even though he’d done most of the work. He grinned back, an excellent sign that he wasn’t about to be smacked with post-orgasm regret.

“Damn.” His gaze moved to his come-covered hand. I wasn’t sure whether he was impressed or grossed out, so I hopped off him to fetch a towel from the bathroom.

“Damn, that was amazing.” I tossed him the towel after cleaning off my stomach. I took a chance on stretching back out next to him. Not to cuddle per se, but this was technically my bed, so he could deal with the inevitable cleanup awkwardness.

“Yeah?” Jude pushed himself up on his elbow so he could peer down at me, concern darkening his gaze.

“Yeah.” Making my tone firm, I rolled my eyes at him. And here I’d been worried he was the one with regrets. “Chill. Not gonna run.”

“I know.” Jude’s lengthy exhale said he hadn’t known shit. He ran a tentative hand down my arm. “It’s more that I don’t want to do something you don’t like.”

That earned him another eye roll. “Only way to find out is to try.”

Despite Jude’s concern, I was still in post-orgasmic bliss, and my relaxed muscles seemed to have also relaxed my brain-to-speech pathway. I offered him another grin.

“Point taken.” He gave me the smallest of smiles in return. “I’m probably being ridiculous.”

“Probably.” My voice was terry-cloth dry. “Not. Gonna. Run.”

“Good. That mean you’d be down with a repeat sometime?” His tone was cautiously hopeful.

“Give me ten.” I chuckled.

Since he’d been the one to mention doing this again, I rolled toward him so I could stroke his chest, show him how very open I was to more fooling around.

“Okay.” Apparently suitably appeased, he arched into my touch with a pleased groan. “Do you have any sort of wish list beyond jerking off?”

“Everything.” This man and his questions were going to be the death of me.

“Carson.” He shot me a pointed look.

“I’m serious.” I met him stare for stare. “Not much I won’t try with you.”

“You’re no help.” He laughed before his tone turned serious again. “I want to please you. That’s kind of my thing. I like giving you what you want.”

Seeing as how I wanted everything, including things I had yet to consider, I wasn’t sure how to respond, so I kissed him instead, a swift press of my mouth intended to reassure him.

“I wanna please you too,” I said against his lips before kissing him again. “What else is your thing?”

Jude broke away, eyes narrowing like he was thinking hard. Perhaps he was more used to being the question asker. Tough. I might not know exactly what I wanted, but I sure wanted to give Jude maximum pleasure.

“Everything.” Jude chuckled. I raised an eyebrow, daring him to go on. “Okay, okay, some things more than others. Oral. Rubbing off. Most folks seem to want me to top.”

“You like that?” I didn’t want to be “most folks” to Jude. I wanted to be spectacular. Memorable. Special.

“Yeah. I can be versatile in that department as well.” Jude sounded rather nonchalant about fucking, which I filed away for later. “Giving oral might be my favorite, but I like lots of things.”

“Then trust me to like lots.” I held his gaze. Maybe that was what I wanted most—his trust. I wanted him to trust that I wanted to be here, that I wasn’t going anywhere, and that my inexperience wasn’t a barrier.

“I’ll try.” Jude stroked my shoulder, meandering down my arm to rest on my hip. “I don’t want this to change anything between us.”

Ah. There it was, his real concern. Seeing as I was equally invested in things not being weird in the morning, I nodded, hoping my expression was at least moderately reassuring.

“Doesn’t have to.” I pressed a quick kiss to his lips. “Couple of friends.” Another kiss that was definitely more than friendly, calling my words into question. I tried again. “No one’s business what we do.”

That was the more important point. We could be whatever we wanted in private. And ideally, we could continue on as friends both in and out of the bedroom. We’d both had friendships go off the rails after orgasms, but I was determined not to lose Jude.

“I suppose you’re right.” Jude kissed me back, mouth softer now, like he’d reached some internal decision that he could stop fretting.

“Usually am.” I danced my fingers down his chest before nudging his belly with my erection.

“Damn.” Jude glanced down at my revived cock. “Are you already gunning to go again?”

“Could.” I grinned at him. The playful vibe sprouting out of the awkward talk made my chest feel light and airy. “Might get you to stop thinking.”

“True.” Jude winked at me before slithering lower on the bed to be even with my groin. He pushed me onto my back before I could even register what was happening. Moving between my legs, he gave me a devilish smile, which was almost as welcome as whatever he had planned. Jude, free and easy, made my back relax into the mattress as he pressed a kiss to my hipbone.
