“Blake…” she whimpers. She reaches out and grabs on to me, wrapping her arms around my shoulders like she’s about to get hit by a train.
And that’s when I stop. Completely.
Not only do I stop, I pull my hand out from under her skirt and step back.
“No. Not yet.”
Her mouth falls open, but she can’t find the words. She looks absolutely adorable—but almost heartbroken at the same time.
I lean in, bringing my lips close to her ear and whisper, “Meet me tonight at the motel on 8th and you can have the rest.”
I peck her on the cheek and walk out, my hard dick throbbing beneath my pants.
That’s right, boss. I’ve got a lot more for you, and you want it…

KATHRYN
I don’t know what I’m doing as I cross the street, the setting sun gifting me a last bit of warmth before it falls under the horizon. Snow falls gently, bathing the city in white.
Normally, I’d never be caught dead in this part of town. The coat I’m wearing cost more than the average rent of these buildings.
Why am I doing this? I don’t even know.
But I’m still aching. My body is still buzzing from what happened back in the office kitchen…
…from what he did to me.
I round the block, and the motel comes into view. My stomach twists, and I almost turn back.
Am I crazy? I’m CEO of my own company! What the hell am I doing here?
No. I’m going to end this, I think as I yank the door open and stride inside. This stops now.
The clerk, a bored girl who is clearly on something, glances at me and nods down the hall.
“Um, excuse me?”
“Room 115. He said you’d be coming.” She hands me a keycard and goes back to her phone.
This cannot be happening. It’s like I’ve stepped into some fever dream—like my body is on autopilot. Thousands of thoughts race through my mind as my two thousand-dollar heels scrape down the stained maroon carpet.
Muffled sounds come from the rooms as I pass. Television, partying, shouting…even moaning…
My hands are trembling when I reach the room.
115.
I press the card to the sensor and hear the door unlock. Quickly, I open it and rush inside, closing it behind me.
“Hello?” I call out. No answer. “Blake?”
My heart is racing as I glance into the bathroom. It’s empty. So is the bedroom. The entire room is empty. It’s just me. He’s not here.
I should leave. This is ridiculous.
But I don’t. I slowly take a seat on the edge of a chair in the corner. My throat is dry, and I swallow hard, tapping my foot impatiently.
Where is he?
Minutes pass. I’m just about to get up and leave when I hear the door click.
My heart skips a beat. I hear male footsteps enter the room and the door close again, followed by the sound of the deadbolt.
“Blake?” I call out, my voice breaking.
No answer. The sound of footsteps approaching.
I take a deep breath as panic starts to set in. This was a terrible idea. What was I thinking?
I see his shoe first—worn leather, barely acceptable for the office. Then he steps around the corner.
His stern eyes find me and examine me with amusement, like he knew I would come tonight, even if I didn’t.
I bite my lower lip to keep my jaw from trembling.
“You look nice,” he says simply.
“This is not happening.” I shake my head and get to my feet. “Do you know how unacceptable this is? To keep me waiting?”
Blake smirks, chuckling. “Right, I forgot. Miss powerful boss lady waits for no one. Everything happens according to her schedule.”
My jaw drops. I don’t even know what to say.
He’s gorgeous in his arrogance, his hubris. It radiates off him like a physical touch, causing me to look down at his shoes, away from his eyes.
“This…your behavior…it’s unacceptable.”
“Oh, it is?”
“I am your boss.” I nod, taking deep breaths. “Speaking to me like you do, touching me, inviting me here—it ends now.”
My hands are trembling. I grip the hem of my coat to hide it from him, but I know he sees. He sees everything.
“You came here tonight,” he counters, closing the distance between us. “Why’d you do that, Kathryn?”
Using my first name…the audacity.
“I came…to tell you…” I can barely find the words. “That this is inappropriate. Your actions, our relationship—”
He laughs. “Relationship, huh?”
“The power imbalance between us…it is not okay. I am your boss, you are my employee—”
I can’t even finish my sentence before Blake has his hands on me. One on my waist, and the other around my wrists, cuffing them together. I was right; his hands are powerful.
Then I’m up against the wall, hands over my head, pinned by his incredible strength.
“Power imbalance? Really? You think you have power over me, Kathryn?”
My heart is going to explode. Every inch of my body is on fire. Things I’ve never felt before are overwhelming me.
