I didn’t think I wanted to share her with anyone but my brother, but it turns out that I don’t mind, now that I know the Winters are good men. Seeing her get off is a turn-on, even when someone else is making it happen.

Excited barking cuts into my thoughts.

“Sounds like they’re here.”

Rudy puts down his knife and wipes his hands on a towel. “Better than a doorbell.”

I quickly wash my hands so I can greet our guests, too. It’s the Winters’ first time here.

Holly is standing between them at the door, the same radiant smile on her face that’s been there all week. I didn’t know exactly how stressed she had been about choosing between us until the need for her to make a decision was removed. She looks the happiest she’s looked since we met her, and that makes me happy.

After she kisses Rudy, who takes the cheesecake box from her, I pull her into my arms and get a good, long taste of her sweet lips. “Happy New Year’s Eve.”

“It still looks like Christmas over here.” She gestures toward our front yard with a tilt of her head just before she bends to pet Trixie and Sammy.

“Yeah, we have a lot of work ahead of us out there, packing all of that up.”

Felix and Jasper shake Rudy’s hand as they come in, then reach for mine. “Want help with it?” Jasper asks.

“The decorations?”

“Yeah. It’ll go faster with four of us. Where do you even keep all of that?” he asks.

“The garage, the attic, and we have a shed out back.” Rudy chuckles to acknowledge how much we go overboard on the holiday.

“We’d be glad to help.” As Felix says this, Holly’s smile beams at the idea of us men working together.

“Thanks. We’re planning to take stuff down this weekend, if you’re available. A week after all that snow, it’s supposed to be sixty-five and sunny on Saturday.”

“Sounds like a plan.” Jasper crouches to meet Trixie and Sammy, then fully sits down on the floor to satisfy their requests for belly rubs and petting. His brother joins him, and our dogs look nearly as happy as Holly.

We have appetizers, then beef tenderloin for dinner, and as midnight approaches, we pour champagne.

“Should we toast?” Rudy asks.

Felix raises his glass. “To more nights like this.”

“To being lucky enough to meet such a wonderful woman,” I say, and Rudy and the Winters echo their agreement. There’s a lot more I could add, like being lucky enough to have found the woman my brother and I want to spend the rest of our lives with, but this is all new, especially with Felix and Jasper now involved, and it’s another thing that will be best taken slow. Slow and steady.

Holly’s eyes are sparkling as she looks around at us. “I’m the one who’s lucky. I could have never chosen between you, and I’m so grateful that I don’t have to. My heart was split in two, and the four of you made it whole.”

My chest fills with warmth, and by the looks on the other men’s faces, her words are affecting them, too.

We move toward her, wanting to touch and kiss her, but she’s still holding her glass aloft.

“Here’s to the coming year,” she says. “If it’s half as happy as this holiday season has been, it will be a wonderful year.”

Smiling at her, I shake my head. “Not half. How about four times as happy?”

Jasper

“Another holiday, another fancy resort. You spoil me,” Holly says as Felix and I escort her up the grand staircase at the Charlotte resort where we’re spending a long weekend.

“You deserve all the best things in life,” Felix tells her.

She squeezes my hand, and is likely squeezing my brother’s too. “I have everything I need to be happy.”

I love to hear it, and I believe it, because I feel the same, but that doesn’t mean we won’t continue to give her all the good things we can.

At our suite, I knock on the door, and a moment later, Nick opens it, pulling Holly into his arms for a kiss. Rudy’s there next, handing her a champagne flute before kissing her, too.

The Frost brothers came ahead to get things ready, and it looks like they’ve been busy. The room is filled with dozens of red roses and heart-shaped balloons. Romantic music is playing, and on the table near the fireplace, there’s a charcuterie board and a tray of chocolate-covered strawberries. All of it screams Valentine’s Day.

“Oh my gosh! I wasn’t expecting all this.” She wanders around the space and spots the rose petals scattered on the bed through the open door of the bedroom. Turning to Felix and me, she says, “I thought you said we were going horseback riding and getting spa treatments this weekend.”

Felix’s brow wrinkles. “We are.”
