The first guy, who thought it was a smart move to put his hands on my ass, reaches for me, but I spin back around with my brass knuckles flying straight for his face. My fist connects with his nose, and the familiar crunch of bones breaking beneath my force is enough to send a jolt of electricity pulsing through me. Fuck, I love that.

Blood spurts from his nose, and despite the darkness of the night sky, I’m still able to see the blood pooling in his hands. “You fucking bitch,” he spits, backing up and collapsing against a wall as he groans in pain, but I’m not done with him yet—not even close.

I only got a small taste of his bones breaking. I need more. So much more.

I go for his ribs.

My fist slams against his ribs, and he instantly doubles over in pain, his friend calling for him to man the fuck up and fight back, but there’s no way. Even before his broken nose, he wouldn’t have been able to handle me.

He crumbles to the ground, his hands flying out to catch his fall, and before he gets a chance to move them, I crush them beneath my boot, listening to the sweet, poetic sound of his little finger snapping like a twig. He cries out in pain and I grin down at him. “Maybe next time you’ll think twice before grabbing my ass, or any other girls’ for that matter. Ever heard of a thing called consent?”

He groans, tears springing from his eyes.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” I laugh, turning to look back at the other asshole who remains on the ground behind me. “Dickheads like you are always down for a bit of action, but it’s not so much fun when the shoe is on the other foot, is it?”

I laugh to myself, that familiar need to beat the shit out of someone finally easing within me. I should be good for another few weeks now. I’ve got other vices that I can rely on until then.

As I move to leave, the three men left standing all glance around nervously. They aren’t sure what to do, but when they come for me, I hold my ground, more than ready for a little more action.

“What are you waiting for boys?” I say, holding my hands out in invitation. “Dinner and dessert? Now that’s a real treat.”

What can I say? Some girls like to rebel with tattoos, drugs, and alcohol. Beating the ever-loving shit out of predators like this is my vice, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

They move faster, coming at me with determination to make me pay for fucking up their friends. My heart races in the best kind of way, making me feel more alive than ever as I run my tongue over my plum lips, welcoming the excitement.

They come at me like a triangle, one at either side and one from the front.

I grin wide, my fingers gliding over my brass knuckles once again. I didn’t know what to expect from moving to Ravenwood Heights, but I can’t deny that it has its perks.

The guy in front reaches me first and I don’t hesitate. I duck under his arm as it comes flying at my face and instantly kick out, my booted toes colliding with his crowned jewels. He goes down like a sack of shit, groaning in agony, but before I can rejoice, my arms are grabbed from behind me.

Instead of fretting, I use it to my advantage. I lean back against him, bringing my foot up in another wild kick, and slamming it under the third guy’s chin. He falls back instantly, and as the guy tightens his grip on my arms, I slam my stiletto heel down on his foot.

He instantly releases me, and I spin around, my arm flying toward his face just as I had with the handsy guy. My brass knuckles crack against his eye socket, and as he falls, I get in nice and close, grinning when I see the perfect outline of the skull that sits just below his eye. It’s like priceless art, perfect in every way.

I look down at my brass knuckles like a proud momma bear. After wiping off the blood, I kiss the very top of the skull, and as I walk out of the alleyway, my laugh bounces off every wall, echoing like a deviant taunt behind me.

I finally reach the dimly lit street at the other end of the alley and find my matte black Ducati waiting ever so patiently. I flick my long ponytail over my shoulder and grab my helmet before fixing it over my head.

As I throw my leg over the Ducati, I feel my leather pants tightening against my ass, and I look back down the alley to find the five guys groaning and slowly getting up. I can’t help but laugh again. I didn’t know I was capable of taking on five guys at once. I guess we learn something new about ourselves all the time.
