He groans and runs his hands down the side of my body, making me shiver. “You’re fuckin’ toxic.”

“You’re the only toxic thing here,” I pant.

He slides his hand up the inside of my thigh and finds my damp panties. I should be pushing him away, demanding he let me go, but here I am eating him up like he’s my last meal. I can’t get enough of him, I’m not sure I even have it in me to say no right now.

“So fuckin’ wet for me,” he growls.

“Yes,” I moan when he slides his fingers under the fabric and finds my already aching clit.

I cling to him, needing him so badly I can’t think straight. It’s sick, twisted, and wrong, but for a moment, I feel like everything is right again. His free hand unbuckles his belt, and I feel him jerk his jeans down just enough to free his hard cock. In seconds, he has my leg around his hip and is thrusting inside me, deep and hard. I cry out and grip his arms, throwing my head back.

He thrusts with need, growling my name and crushing my lips. His arms are hard and tensing beneath my palms and his hips are thrashing, slamming my body against the car as he releases a world of frustration into me. His mouth moves down to bite my neck, and I cry out as an intense orgasm rips through my body. I shudder violently and tighten around him as he explodes with a hoarse growl.

When he stops thrusting, he pulls out of me and yanks his jeans back up. I pull my panties back into place and drop my leg, leaving my head leaning back on the car. I stare up at the stars, wondering what the hell just happened. Did we just fuck in a parking lot? Jagger takes my face and tilts it down to meet his. My head spins. I’m drunk. God, I’m drunk.

“I’m sorry to have to disrupt your life again.”

That’s all he has to say. Of course it is.

“Then why are you?” I whisper, hoarsely.

“It’s important.”

“Of course it is. So important that you could take the time to fuck me first.”

He grumbles something and then opens the car door for me. I get in and wait for him to get around the other side. Surprisingly, he drives me to my apartment, and I see the other car out front. Relief floods me.

“Why are we here?”

“Because this involves all of you.”

“What?”

“Just get inside.”

Well, this has just gone from bad to worse.

I don’t bother looking at Jagger as we walk inside the house.

My mind is a mess. I just slept with him. Just caved like a desperate woman in need. I should have held strong, but the moment I saw him everything disappeared and he was all I could see. I should know better by now.

We walk inside the house and the first thing I see is Ava standing by the kitchen counter, her arms crossed, glaring at Angel. The second she sees me, her face is full of relief as she rushes over, throwing her arms around me. I hug her tightly, thankful she’s okay.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine, it’s fine.”

Jenny stays on the couch—she gives me a weak smile but she doesn’t look so frightened anymore. Angel and Ace are here, the other men have gone. Angel nods his head at me, and I give him a brief nod in return. When Jagger walks in, Jenny stares at him with wide eyes; I know what she sees, he’s beautiful. Ava already knows that, but it doesn’t stop her from ogling him all the same.

“Why is he here?” Ava asks, leaning in close.

“Ask him,” I mutter. “I don’t know either.”

Ava turns and glares at him, crossing her arms. “I don’t know what you’re doing here, or what you want, but you have some nerve coming in after what you did to Willow.”

“Sit down,” Jagger snaps, and Ava’s eyes widen.

“You’re not welcome here,” she seethes.

God, this isn’t getting us anywhere.

“Look, whatever he wants to say, I’m sure it’s important or he wouldn’t be here. Let’s just find out what it is,” I say, taking her hand and pulling her down onto the couch beside me.

Jagger looks around the apartment, eyes scanning over it, before turning to me. “Have you seen your father?”

I blink.

Jenny looks to me, confused. She doesn’t know dad is alive, I didn’t tell her that little piece of information.

“Way to go,” I mutter.

“What?”

“She doesn’t know,” I exhale, turning toward Jenny. “Look, this isn’t how I wanted to tell you any of this, but you need to know that my dad isn’t dead, he’s very much alive and that has a lot to do with why I was taken.”

I take another deep breath, and I tell her everything. I hate the way her face scrunches, and she looks like she has been betrayed in the worst way. I know it hurts, I know it’s shocking, I felt the same emotions when I found out. She sits in silence, processing the entire thing, and I take her hand into mine, squeezing it.
