“They have it out there in the open?” Sting glanced at the computer screen, but didn’t give it much more. He had no idea what he was looking at any more than I did.

“Na. Made four exchanges in three countries. It’d be decently hidden for the normal tech guy, but I’m the motherfucking tech guy. They didn’t get past me.”

“Just the two of them?”

“I checked everyone in the club. Including every person in this room, men and women alike. No one had anything to hide. They had the right amount of money. In various accounts.”

“Found our secret stashes, did you?” Sting chuckled, though I knew he was anything but amused.

“They weren’t secret, but I found them. I know exactly how much money everyone is supposed to have, where you put it, and how you got it. Only two who had more than they were supposed to were Maniac and Lynch. And they had way more than they were supposed to.”

“You need more evidence?” Sting raised an eyebrow at me.

I shook my head. “If Wylde is certain, that’s good enough for me.”

“The rest of us can deal with this. Take Eagle with you and go see to your woman. We’ll question those two fuckers to make sure, but I don’t think Wylde would be wrong about more than one person. I’d be hard-pressed to say he was wrong about anything this important.”

“I’m not.” Wylde’s usually cocky, fun-loving expression turned instantly hard. “I tried to be. But I’m not.”

That was enough for me. “Send a prospect if you need me. I’ll defer to you completely on this, Sting. Whatever you decide I’ll support.”

“You know I don’t have a choice.”

“They were going to sell your women back to that sadistic bastard, Sting.” Wylde spoke slowly, making his point very clear as he nodded to the Cannibal. “Maniac made a deal to turn Brick over to them if they’d kill you, Sting. Text messages between him and Lynch -- on the burner phones they didn’t know I knew about -- outlined their plan to get rid of you and take over the club, Maniac as president, Lynch as VP. They thought they could bring Atlas in line because of his need for money to see his mother’s medical expenses met.” Atlas growled, his fists bunching. “Yeah, Atlas. I knew. Also been funneling money into your mother’s account at the hospital and her doctor. Sting’s fully aware. The club takes care of its own. Even when our members prefer not to share.”

“And this is why you’re the motherfucking tech guy, Wylde.” Sting shook his head. “That was supposed to be between me and you.”

“I was making a point. Atlas kept this from the club, but those two followed him. They were willing to prey on our own members to get what they wanted. They don’t deserve pity. Warlock wasn’t a bad person. Just a man in love with the wrong woman. Maniac and Lynch are different. They betrayed their brothers for greed and power.”

“Anyone have an objection?” No one spoke. “It’s done, then. Atlas.” Sting addressed our sergeant at arms. “Take Maniac and Lynch to the kill box. This isn’t going to happen quickly.”

“And the rest of these?” Atlas indicated the nine remaining men.

Sting gave them a dismissive glance. “Bring the Cannibal to the kill box. The others can die now.” A couple of the prisoners whimpered or grunted, knowing it was time. One of them sobbed openly.

I turned to go. “I’ll be available if you need me, but for now I’ll be with Serelda.”

“I’ll need you in a day or two, but not now.” Sting clapped me on the shoulder. “Go, brother. Eagle, escort Brick and Serelda to their room, then post up outside mine and Iris’s room. Tell her I’ll be there in a few hours. She can text the burner phone if she needs me.”

Eagle nodded once, then we left the barn and went back to the clubhouse. It was going to be a long night. I had a lot of work to do to take Serelda’s mind from the carnage taking place, and more importantly, the sick, sadistic bastard who’d literally fed off her. Fortunately, I was up to the task.

Chapter Nine

Serelda

The second we made it to our room, I bolted for the bathroom. Skidding to my knees on the tile, I vomited violently. Repeatedly. When my stomach was empty, I dry heaved for a few minutes. If I lived to be a hundred, I’d never be able to get this out of my head. That bastard had violated Winter and me in unspeakable ways. Finally, I threw my head back and screamed in rage and frustration.

“Mother fuck! Brick, I want the kill on that guy. I want to cut off his dick and make him eat that!”

“I know, baby. Sting will probably do exactly that. But you aren’t going anywhere near that place. You’ve done all I’m allowing, because that bastard is too sick to taint you with even more memories. He’s not fucking worth it.”
