Macklin McKenna was a wonderchild. A thirty-year-old wonderchild, who ran one of the most popular brunch places in all of DC, who’d co-founded a kink community at the age of twenty-one, who was sexier than sin, and…who was so fucking genuine and funny and generous.

He was a great listener. He didn’t judge. And the way he sucked my cock… God.

For as long as I’d been involved in kink, switches had represented instability to me. I was mostly in it for the playtime, for wild scenes and pushing limits, but I was still on the submissive side of the spectrum, and I craved stability in the form of dominance. But Macklin’s inner switch didn’t work that way. To him, it was all chemistry. He was naturally dominant with me, for instance. While he was friends with several Doms he felt naturally submissive around.

However, he was more flexible. He had no issues letting me take over for a while. It was playful and amazing, just like him.

I broke away from the kiss to catch my breath, and I rested my forehead to his.

His eyes were out of this world too. A stunning, warm brown shade with amber-colored spots.

I brushed my fingers over the faint freckles near his nose.

Slight problem. McKenna was the last name his ex had given him, and they were technically still married. Macklin just couldn’t be in the same room as his ex long enough to ask for a divorce, because they always ended up hatefucking each other’s brains out. His words.

“Come with me to Florida,” he murmured.

I blinked.

He cupped my cheek. “The only reason I chickened out from asking earlier was because I thought you’d be pissed to find out about the snake hunt. But I want you with me.”

Warmth spread within me, and I couldn’t help but grin. “Yeah? You sure it’s okay? You’re leaving tomorrow.”

“I’m sure. Do you think Corey can take care of your jungle for a week?”

I grinned and slid off his lap. “I can ask him right now.” My cousin and I lived in the same building, and if I remembered correctly, he and his Daddy Dom had gone out to dinner in town last night. Chances were they’d spent the night at Corey’s place. “Wait here, I’ll be right back.”

I jumped into a pair of sweats and stumbled out of my room, and I grabbed a hoodie before I was out the door. Then I took the elevator down to Corey’s floor.

My dirty little cousin had become an elusive creature since he’d hooked up with not one, not two, but three fucking men. Like, all in the same dynamic. One Daddy, who was, if I got it right, a primary partner of sorts. But these three men all lived together in a farmhouse over an hour and half away from here. They were in the same kink community as Macklin and essentially had a family together, of which they now wanted Corey to be a part. Trust, he wanted that too.

When I knocked on his door, I actually heard him. Corey was laughing.

It was a good sound. God knew he deserved it after what his ex had done.

“Oooor we could get fried chicken for breakfast!” he laughed. “Please, Daddy?”

I smirked and knocked again. Clearly, they hadn’t heard it the first time. And clearly, they didn’t know how thin our walls were.

“Oh my gosh, Daddy, I’m naked under here—can you open the door?”

I coughed a laugh into my fist and shook my head. I knew my cousin was a Little, but that didn’t mean I needed floor seats for the show.

The door was opened a beat later, and Corey’s hot Daddy Dom, Sloan, smiled politely at me, with plenty of mirth lingering in his eyes.

“Morning, you two.” I peered inside and spotted Corey on the couch in the living room. He grinned tiredly.

“Good morning. It’s good to see you again,” Sloan replied.

“Yeah, definitely,” I answered. “Hey, Cor, can I have a word?”

“Do I have to get off the couch?” He scrunched his nose.

I snorted and leaned against the doorframe. “Not really. I’m just wondering if you’ll be in town this week, or if you’re heading out to Winchester.”

“Winchester,” he said. “We’re going to visit Greer’s family in New York on the thirtieth, and then we’ll be home again on the second.”

Oh. Okay, so… Quick math on my fingers here, pardon me. Yeah, no, that would work. “Are you by any chance going through town on your way to New York?”

Sloan confirmed that for me.

“Dude, ask your favor,” Corey said. “What’s up?”

I sighed, definitely not enjoying asking. “A friend invited me last minute to go with him on vacation, but I need help with feedings. Both on the thirtieth and on the second when you get back.”

“Feedings of what?” Sloan asked curiously. “Wait—he has a snake or something, doesn’t he?”
